For your Loadout, you choose the Primary and Secondary Weapons, Armor, and Grenades. Finally, you select a Booster and four Stratagems, to round out your build. How to Get the Eagle 500kg Bomb Stratagem in Helldivers 2
Being a Stratagem, you can unlock the Eagle 500kg Bomb in your Ship Management screen. Go to your Ship Management terminal on your Destroyer, and select the Stratagems tab. Scroll down to the Hangar subsection and there you will see the Eagle 500kg Bomb on the bottom. You have to be at least Level 15 to unlock it, and it costs 10.000 Requisition to do so.
Remember to select Eagle 500kg Bomb as one of your Stratagems you’ll be taking on a mission, during the Loadout phase.
How to Use the Eagle 500kg Bomb
Like any Stratagem, dial in the Stratagem Code for Eagle 500kg Bomb. Thankfully, it is a very simple code for such a devastating weapon: Up, Left, Down, Down, Down. Throw the Stratagem beacon where you want the bomb to land and be sure to make some distance between you and the center of the explosion.
The Eagle 500kg Bomb is a devastating stratagem, that will obliterate basically anything it falls onto. But, surprisingly, the explosion radius is smaller than it seems. It is best used against massive enemies (like Bile Titans and Factory Striders), so try to throw it in front of them, to ensure that the bomb itself will land directly on them, dealing maximum damage.
You can also use the 500kg Bomb to destroy buildings, like Fuel Silos or Gunship Facilities.
Best Ship Upgrades for Eagle 500kg Bomb
The 500kg Bomb benefits from most Hangar Ship upgrades. The best Ship Module for the Eagle 500kg Bomb is the Expanded Weapons Bay since it increases the number of uses before Rearm from one to two. Pit Crew Hazard Pay reduces the rearming time, giving you more chances to call in this devastating explosion.
Liquid-Ventilated Cockpit is only useful if you have unlocked the Expanded Weapons Bay since cooldown reduction on a one-use weapon is meaningless. Sadly, the new Level 4 Hangar upgrade does not affect the Eagle 500kg Bomb.
