Going solo is a preferred method for some players. Read on to see the best solo Loadout in Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 is predominantly a cooperative game, but that is not to say that solo play is impossible. You can fly solo for whatever reason, maybe none of your friends are online or you just want a quick game. Playing solo is also the preferred method if you are farming for Medals and Super Credits. But, since you’re obviously alone in this fight, keep reading to find out what Loadout is the best for solo play in Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2: Best Solo Loadout

If you are diving alone, you can rely on no one but yourself. That means that you either have to be able to take on every enemy type there is or be stealthy and quick enough to avoid them. Here we will list not one but three best Loudouts for solo play, depending on your preferred playstyle and the mission.

Light Solo Loutout

  • Primary: R-63 Diligence Marksman Rifle
  • Secondary: GP-31 Grenade Pistol
  • Grenade: G-16 Impact
  • Armor: SC-30 Trailblazer Scout
  • Stratagems: Eagle Airstrike, Autocannon Sentry, Quasar Cannon, SH-32 Shield Generator Pack
  • Booster: Stamina Enhancement

This Loadout is ideal if you want to speed through missions on your own. The Marksman Rifle is great for quickly dealing with targets at range, and the fully automatic Redeemer is there if the enemy gets too close. As for Stratagems, Eagle Airstrike and Autocannon Sentry are useful for dealing with Outposts and tougher targets. Quasar Cannon can deal with practically every heavy in the game, and Shield Generator Pack will protect you from stray shots or sneaky bugs.

Medium Solo Loudout

If you are sure you’ll be doing a lot of fighting during your solo outing (perhaps you want to clear outposts or you’re doing that Eradicate Terminid Eggs mission), then it may be better to equip something more suited for close-range fighting. Breaker is still one of the best short-to-medium-range weapons in the game, and Grenade Pistolis there to help you destroy those Bug Holes and Bot Fabricators. The Stratagems are similar to the Light Solo variant, with the Sentry replaced by EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit, and the Shield Generator replaced by Rover. The Exosuit is a powerhouse on its own, and is a powerful addition, especially if you are playing solo.

Heavy/Defence Mission Solo Loudout

  • Primary: SG-225IE Breaker Incendiary Shotgun
  • Secondary: P-19 Redeemer
  • Grenade: G-16 Impact
  • Armor: FS-23 Battle Master (or a similar Heavy armor)
  • Stratagems: EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit, Autocannon Sentry, Exependable Anti-Tank, AX/LAS-5 ‘Guard Dog’ Rover
  • Booster: Vitality Enhancement

We have added this Loadout specifically for defense missions, as they do not require much mobility. Rather, you’ll be under constant attacks most of the time, and having the best protection is key, especially with the limited Reinforcement budget. Breaker Incendiary is great for dealing with hordes since it will set the ground on fire. The EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit is almost invaluable in these types of missions as it can deal with absolutely anything while keeping you safe from smaller enemies. The only downside is the 10-minute cooldown time. Autocannon Sentry and Railgun can deal with practically anything, and Rover will keep you from being overwhelmed.
