Palworld is a new game with tons of content. As in most survival crafting games, you explore and gather materials to build your base. Furthermore, in Palworld, you have Pals, Pokemon-like creatures that serve various purposes in the game. You can hunt them for resources, capture and tame them so they can help you out, or serve as a mount. Having a flying mount is more than useful, as it helps you immensely in exploring the Palapagos Islands. And what is a better flying Pal than a Dragon? So, let’s see where to find the Huge Dragon Egg in Palworld.
Where to Find the Huge Dragon Egg in Palworld?
Huge Dragon Eggs are located on the cliff edges and stone peaks of several high-level biomes: volcanic, snowy and desert. To be more precise, you should look for Huge Dragon Eggs around Mount Obsidian (including the Ruined Fortress City), Dessicated Desert, and Astral Mountains. Remember to bring some heat-resistant gear for the Obsidian Mountain and the Desert, and cold-resistant gear for Astral Mountains.
On the cliffs, you will see large eggs with purple and black stripes. Those are Huge Dragon Eggs. Simply approach them and pick them up. Note that they weigh 50 units, so bear that in mind, if your inventory is almost full.

How to Use Huge Dragon Eggs?
Huge Dragon Eggs are used to hatch into powerful Dragon Pals. The first thing you should do is to make an Incubator. It is located in the Level 7 Technology section, in the Technology/Ancient Technology tab. To craft one you need 10 Paldium Fragments, five Cloth, 30 Stone, and two Ancient Civilization Parts. Huge Dragon Eggs seem to prefer warmer conditions, so putting the incubator indoors with some heating, or near a campfire should speed up the hatching process. The Dragon type Pals you can get from a Huge Dragon Egg are:
- Azurobe
- Elphidram
- Jormuntide
- Jormuntide Ignis
- Quivern
- Relaxaurus
- Relaxaurus Lux
In the open world of Palapagos, islands you can come across a variety of eggs of all shapes and sizes. Apart from the elusive Huge Dragon Egg, there is a Normal Dragon Egg and a Large Dragon Egg variety. We are still unsure if a Giant Dragon Egg exists already, or will it be added in the future with some new content. The larger the egg, the more time it needs to hatch, and we would recommend putting the Incubators inside with some indoor heaters.
