Besides the usual survival game content, you have Pals, creatures that you hunt and tame, and who can help you around the base. And, naturally, to craft a better base you need special materials. One of these materials is Pure Quartz, needed to make Circuit Boards. So let’s see how to get some Pure Quartz in Palworld.

How to Get Pure Quartz in Palworld?

Unsurprisingly, you can get some Pure Quartz by mining it. The trick is that you can only find it in the Astral Mountains, a snowy biome located in the northwest of the map. So grab your best Pickaxe and head to the Pristine Snow Field waypoint, as it is the easiest way to get to the Astral Mountains. Remember that, being a cold biome, you need some cold-resistant gear.

Once there, look for large ore chunks with small, transparent, quartz crystals sticking out of them. The better your Pickaxe, the faster you will mine it. Also, you can invest some points into Weight, to be able to carry more.

Is There a Passive Way to Mine Quartz?

There is a way to mine Pure Quartz without you being directly involved. First, create a base in the Astral Mounts, near Quartz veins. Then, get some Pals with the Mining Work Suitability ability, to mine those Quartz veins while you are doing something else. Lastly, bring over a couple of Pals with Transporting Work Suitability ability, so then can gather that Quartz and bring it back to the base. The only thing you need to do is to check up on this base once in a while and take all the Pure Quartz your Pals have gathered.
