Palworld: How to Fix Session Search Error

How to Fix the Palworld Session Search Error

Because many things might be the cause for the Session Search error, there is no single sure solution for this. Moreover, this error mostly pops up when you are trying to rejoin created Worlds. It seems to affect both PC players and those playing on Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One. Restart Palworld

Firstly, you should try restarting the game. This might seem like a trivial thing to try. However, this is one of the old tricks that can solve many problems the game might have encountered. Additionally, you can try restarting your system as well. 

Turn off the Multiplayer option

Because the error appears when you are trying to reconnect to the World, this issue might be caused by too many players on a server. This means that if you toggle Multiplayer setting Off (found on Main Menu > Change World Settings) for the specific World you wish to join, it might solve this issue. Additionally, to be safe, you should not change any World settings when creating a new World.

Restart Router

On the other hand, your internet connection might be the root of this problem. To fix this, you can try restarting your router. Additionally, if you are using Wi-Fi to play the game you should consider switching to an Ethernet connection. 

Update the game

Keeping your game up to date might prevent errors like this from occurring. Indeed, you should check if your installed Palworld version is fully updated. To do this on Steam, locate Palworld in your Library, and right-click on the game. Then, select Properties, and in the Updates tab set Automatic Updates to Always keep the game up to date. 

Verify game files

This type of error might be caused by corrupt and missing game files. In addition to the solutions mentioned above, you should verify your game files. This can be done in Steam by locating Palworld in your Library by right-clicking on it and selecting Properties. Once there, under Installed Files click on Verify integrity of game files. Keep in mind that it will take Steam a couple of minutes to finish this task. After that’s completed, try launching Palworld again and see if the error persists.
