You have a lot of options when it comes to choosing your Loadout before a mission. You get to choose your Primary weapon, Secondary, Grenades, up to four Stratagems, and a Booster. Speaking of the latter, Boosters are squad-wide buffs that you have to unlock from a Warbond before using. Moreover, you cannot have the same Booster in the squad, so having a wide selection to choose from is always a good idea. On that note, with the release of Cutting Edge Warbond, a new Booster has been added to the mix. Let’s see how to use the Localization Confusion Booster in Helldivers 2, and how to get it.
Helldivers 2: How to Use the Localization Confusion Booster
To use the Localization Confusion Booster, remember to first select it as your chosen Booster before the mission. Its description states that it “Increases the time between enemy encounters”. Since rarely anything in Helldivers 2 is explained in detail, some trial and error is needed.
We have found that the “enemy encounters” in this instance refer to Bug Breaches and Dropship arrivals. This can prove invaluable in some situations because many a mission has failed due to being overwhelmed by constant waves of enemies. By selecting this Booster, enemy reinforcements will arrive more slowly, giving you more time to deal with each wave. That makes Localization Confusion quite useful on higher difficulties.
How to Get the Localization Confusion Booster
You can find the Localization Confusion Booster in the Cutting Edge Warbond. You first have to unlock it, in case you haven’t already. Then, you’ll easily find the Booster on the first page of the Warbond. You need 18 Medals to unlock it. Once unlocked, you can select to use it during the Loadout part, before starting a mission.
