Each squad member can be equipped differently, so you guys can take on a wide variety of enemies. Moreover, there is an enhancement that you can equip that helps the whole squad. How to Get Boosters in Helldivers 2?
For now, the only way of acquiring Boosters is through Warbonds. The majority of Boosters in Helldivers 2 can be found in the free Warbond that every player gets, the ‘Helldivers Mobilise!’ Warbond. As with everything in Warbonds, you need to gather a hefty sum of Medals to unlock these Boosters. Boosters included in the Helldivers Mobilise and their costs are:
- Hellpod Space Optimisation -15 Medals
- Vitality Enhancement – 20 Medals
- UAV Recon Booster – 40 Medals
- Stamina Enhancement – 75 Medals
- Muscle Enhancement – 70 Medals
- Increased Reinforcement Budget – 150 Medals
Additionally, each Premium Warbond comes with one Booster that you can also purchase for Medals. Below is the list of all “premium” Boosters that have been released for now.
- Flexible Reinforcement Budget – 75 Medals (from the Steeled Veterans Warbond)
- Localization Confusion – 18 Medals (from the Cutting Edge Warbond)
- Expert Extraction Pilot – 55 Medals (from the Democratic Detonation Warbond)
- Motivational Shocks – 15 Medals (from the Polar Patriots Warbond)
How to Use Boosters?
After unlocking a Booster, you can equip it in the Loadout section. Each Booster has a unique effect, and the most important fact is that it affects the whole squad. Note that the effects of the same Booster do not stack. So, if you have a full squad of four people, each Helldiver should be equipped with a different Booster. As for the effects of each Booster, here is a rundown:
- Hellpod Space Optimisation – Every Helldiver in the squad starts the match with a full stock of ammunition, grenades, and stims.
- Vitality Enhancement – Increases the injury resistance of all players.
- UAV Recon Booster – Enhances the effectiveness of radars.
- Stamina Enhancement – Increases the amount of stamina and recovery time for all squad members.
- Muscle Enhancement – Improves mobility across difficult terrain.
- Increased Reinforcement Budget – Increases the number of reinforcements available.
- Flexible Reinforcement Budget – Reinforcements spawn faster.
- Localization Confusion – Increases the time between enemy encounters.
- Expert Extraction Pilot – Reduces the time Extraction Shuttle needs to get to you.
- Motivational Shocks – Reduces the slowing effect some enemies can apply.
