Embark Studios has announced the return of Cashout Mode to The Finals. If you are interested in finding out how this mode is played, you are in the right place. Stick with us and we will explain everything you need to know about how to play Cashout Mode in The Finals.
The Finals: Cashout Mode Explained
In Cashout mode, four teams of three contestants compete to gather the most cash in 8 minutes. The majority of cash in this mode is gained through Cashout Stations, although a small amount of cash can be obtained by eliminating enemy players.
To get the cash using a Cashout Station, you must first locate a vault. Every match of Cashout will start with two vaults on the map, and there will only ever be two vaults on the map at any time.

Opening a vault will award the team some cash and will spawn a Cash Box. This box can be picked up like any other arena carriables. To start extracting cash from it you need to deposit the box into a Cashout Station. Furthermore, as with vaults, there are only two Cashout Stations on the map at all times.
Once your team deposits a Cash Box in a Cashout Station, the extraction will begin. Moreover, depositing a Cash Box comes with a small cash reward for the team. Once extraction starts a timer will appear, and every team will be alerted that Cashout is in progress. In addition, every Cashout Station displays which team is its current holder.
When the Cashout has started anyone can claim it by interacting with the Cashout Station. Whichever team has possession of the Cashout Station when the timer runs out will receive all of the deposited cash. Additionally, when the timer runs out a new Cashout Station will appear on the map.
How to Win in Cashout?
To win in a cashout mode your team needs to be the richest at the end of a round. With that in mind, some gadgets, weapons and specializations might be more useful than others. For example, Medium Build’s Guardian Turret in combination with APS Turret can be a good defensive combination. Moreover, Heavy Build’s arsenal of defensive gadgets can be great for defending a Cashout Point especially when paired with a Flamethrower.
The best tip we can give you to get easy wins in this mode is: once you are in the 1st place, never start the Cashout process. Sometimes in this mode, stealing other’s Cashout Points is easier than defending your own. Being in 1st place will paint a big target on your team so do not give your enemies further reasons to gang up on you.
