Additionally, the game offers three different Builds with unique melee and ranged weapons, gadgets and specializations. Best Light Build in The Finals
- Weapon: V9S – the best weapon option for the Light Build
- Specialization: Cloaking Device
- Gadgets: Glitch Grenade, Stungun, Vanishing Bomb
The best build for the Light class is one that gives it a way to quickly enter and exit a fight. One of the most versatile aspects of the Light build is the Cloaking Device. Used to either sneak on enemies or escape from them, this specialization effectively grants invisibility. Now all you need is a weapon that does a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Enter V9S, one of the best weapons in the game. This semi-automatic pistol is a nightmare at close range.
Glitch Grenade is a great way to disable enemy gadgets and specializations leaving them exposed and vulnerable. Stungun is a non-lethal gadget that upon hitting the enemy makes them slower. Additionally, it prevents them from using gadgets and specializations for a short time, making them an easy target. Vanishing Bomb gives you an additional source of invisibility. Although the duration is shorter than Clocking Devices’ it can be used on multiple teammates. With good team coordination, it can be used to surprise enemies with a whole invisible team.

Best Medium Build in The Finals
- Weapon: AKM or FCAR
- Specialization: Healing Beam
- Gadgets: Defibrillator, Jump Pad, Zipline
The Medium build is the support of the team, and its best build should be focused on that. Healing Beam is an essential healing tool in the game, and being able to heal your allies in the middle of a firefight can mean the difference between winning and losing. A Defibrillator is another great tool for the Medium build. It gives you the option of reviving your teammate instantly instead of waiting a couple of seconds.
The Finals is a game about movement and traversing the map is made easier with a Jump Pad and Zipline. AKM and FCAR are two of the best mid-range weapon options in the game.
Best Heavy Build in The Finals

- Specialization: Mesh Shield
- Gadgets: RPG-7, Barricade, Dome Shield
Master of demolition and the best defender of the three. For the offence, this build has Lewis Gun and RPG-7. The RPG-7 is a great option for Heavy due to its destructive firepower, along with its massive damage. Being able to eliminate Light Builds in one shot is no laughing matter. On the other hand, the Lewis Gun is one of the most reliable ranged weapons for Heavy Build.
Another aspect of the game where Heavy Build dominates is its defensive potential. Mesh Shield is a specialization that gives you an energy shield that you can move. Although you will not be able to shoot while using the Mesh Shield, you can protect your teammate with it. While they stay behind you they can utilise the shield and shoot at the enemies.
Additionally, a Barricade can be used to close places of interest and it offers you cover from incoming fire. Lastly, there is the Dome Shield. After this gadget gets deployed it creates a force field bubble that gives temporary immunity from damage. This makes Dome Shield perfect for stealing cashout points, or for protection while you revive allies.
