I don't feel like the reviewer understands what the point of a visual novel is... No one is playing Hatoful Boyfriend or Katawa Shoujo, two of the "weirdest" and well known visual novels, for the gameplay. It's meant to be replayed over and over, and by just blazing through a character's story in an hour or two really doesn't help the user experience. You have to read tons of dialogue for the games to truly connect with the characters. The joke about them being birds...

I don't know what the amiibo situation in Spain is like but my local Gamestop has actually requested for Nintendo to stop sending them Mario amiibos because he gets restocked extremely often despite him not selling a lot after the initial boom.
