Will System Shock Remake Be Available on Xbox?

The System Shock Remake will be available on Xbox, but not when the game releases on May 30.

The game will be released on PC originally, with a planned port for both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. However, there is no current planned release day for the ports to these systems.

What Systems Will System Shock Remake Be Available On?

The game is set to be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox X|S. The release date for the PC version is May 30. Every other version has yet to receive a release date.

While it is disappointing that console players will have to wait longer to play the game, it may not be surprising. System Shock was originally only released on PC, and the developers have stated that they want to create an experience that’s as true to the original game as possible. It makes sense that the developers would start developing for the same original medium, then move on to console ports later down the line.
