There are some good ideas, but none that lift it beyond what is best described as the mire-of-the-above-average experience. If you do play it, spread it out over a at least a few sittings so that monotony doesn’t set in and detract from a game that may not completely change the fortunes of the franchise, but serves as the best step forward thus far.
