now this sounds really interesting now! you know what would spice it up? if they announced cross-play features for the 3DS (which means, they will have to announce a 3DS version also).

or perhaps be one of the first Wii U games to use 2 gamepads. imagine you and your opponent each have your own screen to strategize your moves.

it's all about the games. regardless what console you are playing it on, if you enjoy the game, whether it has crappy graphics or super-crisp hyper-realistic, as long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters.

Trine 2 is an amazing game, and has one of best-looking platforming game. so if Frozenbyte says that Wii U is powerful enough for them, then that's good enough for me.

and yes, the Wii U may be less powerful to the XBone/PS4, but nevertheless...

here's looking at you EA. you released ports that are either lacking in features as compared to the others (Madden), a re-branded FIFA (2012 > 2013), prevented porting of Crysis 3 even though it was running on Wii U, and undermine the release of Mass Effect 3 (which was ported okay btw), by releasing the trilogy on the other consoles before it was even released on the Wii U. after all that, you have the nerve to say that your products did not sell well on the Wii U? honestly, NFS Most ...

i think they forgot to add a small fine print disclaimer with the article...

"This is paid advertising"

and from the looks of it, both MS and Sony paid a hefty price to get those "featured" in CNN. although seeing the XBone comes first, obviously MS paid a much higher premium ad space.

it's been updated again. and Chibi-Robo is Chibi-Robo Photography! some features mentioned:

- For 3DS eShop
- Focused around the camera functions of the system
- Snap real life objections and collect them in the game
- Various minigames
- There is contest for collecting the various items in the game; snap stuff like a print design for Wii U or a Yen Card
- Match up real-life objects against silhouettes on the screen to turn them int...

with multiplatform and cross-platform releases (games that will appear in both the PS3/PS4 and XBox360/XBone), the question should be "will continued xbox 360 and ps3 support strangle the PS4/XBone?", because that would mean that these new consoles will practically be competing with themselves. imagine a title like Assassin's Creed 4 or Watch_Dogs, noted to be coming also for PS4 and XBone. if i'm on a tight budget, will i be getting it for my existing PS3/Xbox360, or will i...

seeing that COD: Ghosts was announced and shown off during MS reveal, it's possible MS may have paid off Activision to hold off on announcing a Wii U version. why? because for gamers who have "converted" previously by getting the BLOPS2 version for Wii U, if they don't know it's coming for the U, then surely they'll decide to pre-order either the 360/One or PS3/PS4 version.

they can't do the same for Sony's console, since it's pretty much...

does this confirm that you can create custom tracks for Mario Kart 8? coz that would really be awesome! also, if true, would be nice if you can share it online...

now, if only they'd announce COD:G for the Wii U, then everything would be fine and dandy.

well, at least they're not going the EA way of making statements and backpedaling.

apart from the girls of E3 being the winner... i'd say, I'm glad Conan enjoyed Mario Kart 8... just shows how fun the game will be, especially if you win.

just because it's colorful, it doesn't mean it's for kids only...

even i, an adult, find a game like COD easier to complete, compare to getting 100% on Super Mario Galaxy or even Super Mario 3D Land.

in my opinion, i wouldn't consider the game as "the best" in it's genre, but it was definitely not bad. for me, i'd grade it above average. yes, it does feel like a chore to do at times, but i guess it depends on how you perceived the game as a whole.

i also found the option of going "stealthy" all the way throughout the mission, but end up being more like an action shooter in the boss missions also odd, but nevertheless found the game to be, a...

yes... in fact the DLC is integrated into the storyline also, so it won't be a separate experience as in the original release.

graphics upgrade found on the DLC (the missing link) has also been implemented into the whole game. so in effect, it would be the best looking game of all the previous releases, except perhaps for the PC which has the benefit of higher graphical settings of course (but was still enhanced when the DLC came out).

i understand what you mean, and yes, i read the article. believe, if there's one thing that I'd really want, it's for more games to come to Wii U.

now what i meant was, EA/Dice said they couldn't make Frostbite 3 work for the Wii U; eventually they backpedalled and admitted that right now, they're watching the Wii U, and will have plans for it, when the install based increases to a reasonable level for them -- that's one cat out of the bag.

when the Wii U install base increases to a reasonable number for 3rd parties, i will not be surprised if by then Frostbite 3 and this game will magically "work" for Wii U.

to answer the question: because for every one who grows up and graduate from doing "pokemon", a new child is born, a kid is introduced to Pokemon and loves it, a new adult is introduced to it, and loves it to. that makes 1 leaving the franchise behind, and about 1 or more replacing him.

i completely agree with Mr. Iwata on this. especially the part about Miiverse exploding when it comes to 3DS. i know a lot of my friends have been waiting for it, as am I.

act'ly the web site miiverse does allow you to share to twitter/facebook (if i remember correctly, there was a new about it).

although i agree, if you say something like "hell yeah, i beat this game! 100%!" and post it on Facebook/Twitter, i rarely see any of my friends "liking" my comment. some just "like" it out of courtesy...

for anyone thinking nintendo games are for "younger audiences", do watch this:

i'm an adult, and equally enjoying games like Super Mario Galaxy, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Fire Emblem (clearly not a kid's game), Call of Duty, Battlefield, Crysis, GTA, etc.

no offense, but i believe this is one of main misconception about new IPs: if it's not "mature" in nature, or not different enough, or not full of graphical flair like an FPS, or if it uses the same "characters" over and over again, then it's not a new IP.

nintendo, like Disney, treat their characters as somewhat similar to "actors". by putting them into their games, they become characters of that game, acting into what the gameplay calls...
