you gotta love Shin'en. less talk, more action; unlike some other big 3rd party devs.

i'm pretty sure this is gonna happen soon, if not within the year, then soon. there have already been rumors of the Miiverse coming to 3DS and NNID by end of the year, so this must be part of it.

if i remember correctly, i think it was yesterday when Nintendo announced that they are having some technical difficulties in the eShop for all their platforms and have temporarily disabled access. perhaps they were testing this yesterday and someone "forgot" to disabl...

Pokemon Conquest 2?

holy crap, could it be related to the recent trademarking of Fire Emblem? Pokemon X Fire Emblem... or perhaps Pokemon Emblem?

have to say this game is well, WONDERFUL! awesome, even... loving the cheesy humor.

@Qrphe, i believe you're not getting disciple9's point. it's not that they didn't have the extra sauce for 1080p, in fact the console is capable of that as pointed out by PopRocks (confirmed games to be 1080p) -- since they noticed that rendering in 1080p for their game didn't look any different when rendered in 720p, they decided to use the extra resources for other effects.

and to quote Shin'en's statement: "So all in all ‘Nano Assault Neo’ ...

although it's nice to have played the previous games, it's not required. agree with GamingAngelGabriel, just watch LP's or summaries off Youtube, and you're good to go.

if you want realistic, there's one that has been available for a very long time; you don't have to look far, and in fact it's the most realistic representation of an MMO. it's called life... if you want realistic, go outside.

but seriously, it'd be nice and all, and i myself will appreciate it, but it's still decades away. right now, what devs are doing are photorealistic game with mediocre gameplay and/or AI, or the opposite (good gameplay/ai but not ...

oh, a new Fire Emblem... Awesome! hope it's on the Wii U...

at least he's admitted his mistake, and has since been singing praises for the console.

his doing so may not guarantee success for his project, but nevertheless, he's bringing his game to the Wii U, and that it's gonna be a good addition to the Wii U's library of indie titles.

Wii U may struggle with 3rd party titles, but it may just be a haven for quality indie titles apart from 1st and 2nd party titles.

i know you don't have enough bubbles left... but i'd really love to hear what your definition of "grade A" quality is.

since you're saying that "definitely not grade A...", but you're dissing a person whose basis of a good game is based on critics and review score, rankings, and perhaps overall impression of the gaming community -- so yeah, what is your definition of a grade A quality game?

ok, so if it doesn't appeal to you, then it's automatically a casual shovelware? wow, whoever appointed you in that position need to get their heads straight.

you say, you're a hardcore gamer and listed mostly shooters and action games; in case you don't know, people who are enjoying the same games as you are, are also enjoying games who for you are "kiddie games" on console "designed for kids". i'd like you to define a gamer who are eq...

what i don't understand is why people would wanna write Nintendo off? yes, the Wii U may be struggling now, in terms of sales; but at the end of the day, it is not the only console Nintendo is selling -- there's the 3DS which has been steadily selling well all over the world. also, the fact is, even if they only come in 2nd or 3rd for this gen (vs. PS4/Xbone), will it mean them totally dropping off from the console business? of course not!

a lot of people comparing t...

so basically what Mark Cerny is saying -- if developed properly, and make use of the necessary features, the architecture used by Wii U is capable of things that the specs don't literally show outright.

haters gonna hate; but as a gamer, that's good enough for me. i'm in it for the games anyway, and not into any pissing contest. also, if ever, i can always get a second console.

coming from a guy who isn't "...involved in Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara"...

so Capcom is having some issues with releasing an old arcade port/remake to the Wii U... while indie devs that released on the Wii U have mostly praised the process.

last i read about this, they have already submitted this to Nintendo, and so the only real issue is in the process of approval because of some hitch here and there.

i agree. and i believe one of the main reasons for this is that, a lot of gamers have this misconception that a new IP has to be some AAA big title, something familiar in terms of gameplay, and perhaps something that will appeal to so-called hardcore gamers. so when Nintendo rolls out Wii Fit, Dillon's Rolling Western, Pushmo, Brain Age, etc. they don't consider them new IPs coz either it's not a conventional "game", or it's not something with a skyrocketing budget o...

not everything that's supposed to be legal is smart.

what should have been "smart" was for their legal department to work hand-in-hand with PR, and thought about the consequences of their decision. but then again, they risked by making that decision, and when they felt the backlash, they reversed the decision -- that's good enough for me.

3969d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

whereas i don't agree with what Nintendo's legal department has done (when following the news, you will know this decision was made by Nintendo's legal department), i can understand why they did it; since legally, they can do it. this is no different when you see "warnings" in DVD's indicating that is against the law to exhibit or publicly show any movies without getting a license. the main difference is that, it is easier to get a license for movies to show publicly...

should be noted though that CryTek did mention that Crysis 3 worked on Wii U and was almost ported if not for EA stopping them.

also, Unreal Engine 3 is known to running on the Wii U, with some support for Unreal 4. so in the end, it's really all EA.

3970d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

the reality is that, it's not about whether the Wii U is powerful enough to handle it or not, coz if it runs on PS3/360, it sure as hell can run on the Wii U; it's really all about the money.
