nintendo should make a Wii U bundle with this...
don't forget imitating Iwata with the whole "DIRECTLY!"
it was also amusing how every few minutes or so, they remind you when it's coming out! it's actually a good strategy, coz by the end of the direct, it would have been impossible not to know when's the release date.
@admiralvic
while yes it is possible for Bayonetta 2 to go multiplatform. however, since Nintendo is funding the game, it is highly unlikely it will happen, unless there's a clause in the contract among the parties that after a couple of years or so, Platinum or Sega will have the right to re-publish the game. its also possible that although the characters are not owned by Nintendo, but the game and its content is; and the only way for it to appear on other consoles is if...
it's coming... soon... TBA
loving this game more and more each day!

even if the Wii U doesn't end up the winner of the next gen, i highly doubt that they'll give up on consoles. as long as they feel that home consoles are relevant (and i believe this is their mission, according to Iwata, to ensure the relevance of home consoles), they will continue on creating new hardwa...
fact or fiction? i don't know, the article pretty much mixed both...
why don't you just get her a 3DS... you make it sound like you're depending on your girlfriend, so you can play...
ah. for once an article that make sense. Nintendo may not come out the winner this gen, but they will live on. and they will continue to make consoles and games.
* missing online functionality
- it's not like it's missing online multiplayer; in fact, most people who tried it like it and have no gripes about it. you also can't blame the online population since the install base is low at the moment.
- the only legit issues for online functionality is the achievements (which some people love, but personally don't care for it much) and the online purchases tied to the system as opposed to you your account. although i'm ...
and your mistake is to make a stupid comment like this.
maybe you should ask your kids why they like the Wii U, and you don't.
perhaps you should spend some time to enjoy what your kids are enjoying.
i think the title was intentional to get hits... but as i've already read the interview even before I saw this, so i was pretty sure the title was in a way sort of misleading... but "unnerving" was enclosed in double quotes, so yeah...
but then again, the Wii is already a success...
act'ly if you read the article, there is a point. the title may mislead somehow, but it's really not a "doom" article.
the article stated that given Arkham Origins for the Wii U won't have multiplayer: if it sells, and at the same price, executives will believe that they can get away with it and get lazy come their next games; if it flops, executives will decide that the console is not worth investing into for future games -- and both situations are bad....
i don't play Batman Arkham series for the multiplayer; and I really don't care much for it. i hope it doesn't end up like Spec Ops The Line's multiplayer which was bleh...
just find it amusing that when you see something bad like this, haters automatically say it's the Wii U version...
perhaps next time, gamers should petition for more "honesty" when it comes to demo footages. at least they every publisher should add a disclaimer indicating "this gameplay footage is from a PC version set to maximum" or something.
what's done is done. whatever happens when it's finally released, and how good/bad the sales go, will be Ubisoft's doing.
what's sad though is that when sales for the Wii U ends up below than expected, people will tend to blame Nintendo. oh well.
maybe they're just waiting for the right platform.
if you watch the Japanese version of the 7-min trailer, you'll see that the mouth anims follow the Japanese dialog...
