an external harddrive is a cheaper alternative rather than having a big internal proprietary hard drive. heck, even a 1TB external HDD is cheaper than a 32GB Vita memory card.

this is why i don't really rely on the "scores" the reviews give. in my belief, if you give a minus for certain aspects of the game, then it should also reflect in the score. so based on the review, it should have been a 9-9.5/10 only. otherwise, don't give a score.
while i find that TW101 may not break records in Japan, but it should be noted that it was only released 2 days ago. The charts are for weekly sales. and seeing that nintendo only shipped 30K of this in Japan, i'm sure they already know it may not sell much.

while i agree that with digital downloads starting to become the norm, a bigger HDD would be nice. but i understand Nintendo's reasoning for this.

in fairness to the author of this article, he's not saying TW101 is a waste on the Wii U, but rather he's pointing out the flaws of a vg247 blogger who wrote about it.

not defending Infinity Ward, but BLOPS 1 and 2 were both made by Treyarch. Treyarch did mention that they have made a lot of modifications to the engine used by IW in CODMW series.

the fact is, most of the customer service representatives are at best, only have basic knowledge in what they do. companies don't hire them for their extensive knowledge of their IP's or works, otherwise if you have such an extensive knowledge you'll be classified more as a consultant. it's a bonus if they do find someone with enough knowledge and skills for it.

well, this is not Nintendo's fault. this is a an example of a game hyping up the demo, but ends up being mediocre -- marketing strategy. although frankly, i've tried the dream drop distance demo, and somehow it didn't catch on. my brother bought one, and when i finally got to play it, somehow my decision not to buy the game got vindicated. coz i didn't enjoy it much. i'm not saying the game is bad, i'm just saying i personally, didn't enjoy it.

if she loves it so much, then why don't you buy her a full retail version. or perhaps introduce her to the value of saving money, by encouraging her to save what she can, so she can buy something, say for christmas. well, she may be a little too young for that, but would be a good thing in a year or two from now.

but right now, i'm guessing Nintendo wants to focus having demo tours like the one in BestStop and other game stores as a marketing ploy. if you play the demo in one of those stores, and get the urge to get one, it's a matter of going to the counter and buying one for yourself.
what's more silly is the fact that some people are making a big issue out of it.
a study have shown that demos may in fact affect sales. recent figures from Ouya also indicated this, with most people downloading the demo but opted not to get the full game.
my reaction to this is based on some simple logic. if you want your game to sell, and you decide to release a demo --then you should release a demo that shows the best of what you game/software can do....
