Ubisoft’s arena shooter, XDefiant, has been released on May 21. With various factions, drawn from other Ubisoft games, and over 20 weapons, there is something for everyone. Whether you like the classic mid-range assault rifle approach or are more of an up close and personal shotgun-wielding type, you will find no lack of weapons in XDefiant. Top 5 Best Weapons in XDefiant

ACR 6.8

Arguably the best weapon in the game, the ACR 6.8 combines high damage on mid-to-long-range, with an incredibly low recoil, making it a fast-shooting and accurate weapon. Combine it with a couple of attachments and this weapon will outperform any other weapon in the game.

AK-47

The classic AK-47, this Assault Rifle deals more damage than the ACR, but at the cost of a higher recoil. But, once you get more familiar with the game and learn to manage the recoil AK has, you will be carrying the deadliest weapon in the game.

MP7

Able to unload 35 rounds at close range before reloading, the MP7 is the best Submachine gun in XDefiant. A great weapon for those who like to sneak up close and unload a hail of bullets into the enemy team. As you’d expect from an SMG, its use is fairly limited on medium and long range.

M4A1

The default Assault Rifle you start the game with, the M4 is still a great all-round choice. It deals a decent amount of damage, is fairly accurate, and has a low recoil, making it a great choice for every situation. Add a couple of mods and you’ll have a reliable weapon in your hands.

RPK-74

Light Machine Guns are generally a go-to choice for most XDefiant players, and RPK-74 is the best among them. It combines high damage with decent maneuverability for an LMG. With 45 bullets per magazine, it can fire for a longer time than Assault Rifles but is more wieldy than other, heavier LMGs.
