The Finals is a fast-paced FPS set in a televised virtual arena where players compete to be the richest at the end of a match. To do this you can run one of three Builds that all come with unique specializations, weapons and gadgets. What you take out of all these options is completely up to you. Can The Finals be played on Linux?

Soon after the release of the game players that are using Linux noticed that they could not access the game. This was odd due to The Finals running normally on Linux during the open Beta test. Some time has passed since the release of the game and this issue seems to have been fixed. However, there was no official statement on behalf of the developers addressing this issue. Nevertheless, this means that currently yes, you can play The Finals on Linux using Steam Desk.  

Keep in mind that the game may be a little unstable on Linux and crashes can happen. Additionally, to make sure that you have the best gaming experience, in The Finals properties on Steam make sure to use the Proton Experimental or Proton Experimental Bleeding-EDGE version compatibility.
