When most of us think of Microsoft's Kinect or motion controls in general, the games that come to mind don't have a hardcore following. So far the games have been aimed at the casual gamer and at family-friendly multiplayer experiences. Forza 4 is promising Kinect functions in a core game, and it's not the only one that should.

I really liked kinect when they 1st announced it but the soft ware line up left me not liking it so much. I agree it's new tech and it up to the devs. to make new and fun ways to play games. I really want to see two games take advantage of this tech. UFC/madden. I also think Uncharted 3 would be bad ass in 3d/move!

hand halo to a new dev that isnt bungie and have them tack on kinect to try to get the hardcore to embrace it? lets see how that goes over lol.

why would bioware add a console specific input to a multiplat game? or would they add a move hacking minigame to the ps3 and a mouse one to the pc version? please just make games bioware, not fiddle with this shit. mebe if MS can carve out a big enough check to be exclusive(again) , then by all means go for the kinect sex mini games.

lionhead studios is actually owned by MS, or paid a ton of cash from them, so lets see what peters got cooking. out of ALLLLL the kinect crap shoved at us, milo had the most promise to do something interesting with the tech. rest in peace bro

besides theres still shopping days this year till xmas so MS is sticking to their "you are the controller" mantra. please stop mentioning controllers and kinect in the same sentence unless its deragatory.

Rock band idea sounds interesting if you were playing for a crowd but otherwise it seems like it would just be irritating.

Um... I'm hoping that kinect gets more game integration as well but I hope that developers come up with better ideas than that list. Why use the Kinect for voice commands when we already have a headset? Playing Rock Band with stage presence is kinda cool in theory but think about if you had to flail around WHILE still hitting all the notes and not falling over your singer or something (and would the bass player need to stay still? j/k I love playing bass)

None of these ideas really push gaming into anything other than mundane mini-game territory and Kinect truely deserves something that can take more advantage of it's potential. Thats just my thoughts tho...

Kinect can help with voice commands and stirring tea mini games but not much good for many things to be honest.The problem with Kinect is most game uses will be better with Move.Sorry,but it's true.
