One good thing you can say about Skyrim, apparently it made Oblivion really good. Not sure how that's even possible but before Skyrim Oblivion was the one the 'real ES fans' hated. Now most of them seem to love it.

I can't even describe how much I love Skyrim but to me it's absolute most glaring flaw is it's failure to get you emotionally invested in the characters. I have a blast sneaking around with my bow and am frequently awed by some big epic scripted or random moment but ultimately I feel like a psychopath even though I'm playing as a good guy because if I'm honest, I don't care who lives or dies beyond how it ruins my feeling of being a hero.

Take a game like...

You've made 2 million levels?? That's pretty impressive, I've been trying to make one since the first game came out and still haven't made anything worth uploading.

If it's a current gen game I'm really looking forward to it, if it's next gen I'm disappointed as hell. It looks slightly better than GTA4 which isn't nearly a good enough leap in visuals, regardless of the fact that it'd be a launch title and regardless of the size of it.

Bioshock was the first game I played of this generation, this is after taking a break from gaming as a hobby for about three years or more. I'm still feeling the panic that took over me when I was sitting in the dark trying to relearn how to control a game, get used to the amazing jump in quality since the last game I played and get out of that damn bathysphere before the creepy mutant thing cut through the roof and killed me.

Even though I felt Bioshock dragged quite a bit ...

All I know is that girl in the pic has a sweet set-up. Look at that monitor, you probably only need two men to lift it, she can probably play Grim Fandango on it's highest settings with that thing.

I love the atmosphere of this game and Elizabeth so far seems like a great character. I'm dying to know just what that giant robotic eagle wants with her and why she considers going back a fate worse than death. I also would very much like to motorboat those boobies for hours at a time.

I can understand frustration at the focus on boobs instead of other elements of the game but you can't really expect straight males to pretend they don't notice a fine pair of boobs a...

Ho lee she it.

It shows what kind of an age we live in where something like this can just be a cool video you watch while drinking your morning coffee when probably as little as fifty years ago this would be Earth shattering front page news.

It hasn't been the most revolutionary year for gaming but in terms of good games, we've had some of the best of this generation if not best ever. Portal 2 alone would be good enough reason to be a gamer in 2011.

This is just a rip off of the book I wrote about discovering Islam through Angry birds.

I have to admit I haven't touched Skyrim in a while even though it's my game of the year. There's only so much you can do of anything before you need to take a break. I did the same thing with Oblivion, couldn't touch it for months then felt like playing it again one day and didn't stop until Skyrim came out. I haven't really been in much of a gaming mood at all recently but I'm gonna try and replay Deus ex HR or MGS4 or something similarly futuristic soon to try a...

I agree LA Noire was majorly disappointing, I could've handled or even enjoyed a slow paced game but the fact that it's basically a story driven puzzle game in which the puzzles solve themselves and all the characters including the main protagonist behave like unmedicated schizophrenics, that was just too much for me to handle.

Ps. You get a bubble from me for having a TMBG reference as your username, even if you didn't mean to.

Kane and Lynch 2, those words will haunt me to my grave and I'm one of the few people who loved the first one. I even liked the demo for the second one but the actual game was just... I don't even know. The exact same action in the exact same place for about two more hours the credits. I've felt like I fell for cheap cash-ins before but this game actually felt like a deliberate attempt to steal from me, I wouldn't have felt any more ripped off if they had sold me a box contain...
