I only played the first Saints row and I HAAATED it but since the second game it seems like they decided to drop the wannabe cool macho thug thing and just go for genuine crazy fun. I might pick this up.
To be honest this game was my biggest disappointment of this gen after the first Assassin's creed. It felt similar too, like a great concept that just wasnt followed through in execution.
I loved Deus ex HR but I don't have any desire to buy this. I feel like I had my fill with the main game, I left it satisfied and having enjoyed every moment but not really wanting more. Who knows though, I might feel like picking this up in a few months.

I didn't pick up Infamous 2 but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this one. I've always enjoyed a little vampire slaying.

AKB48 Are the greatest musical act of all time. Of course I don't know anything about them other than the fact that Riko Yamaguchi used to be in them before doing porn (but all censored, grrrr) and that the pretty girl in that picture who I'd probably go to jail for so much as looking at is in them but that's enough for me.
If I get stood up by my friends and don't get invited to a party it's gonna be Batman Arkham city for me (if I havent already played the crap out of it) after reading Batman-the long Halloween and maybe Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum. Not technically horror but gothic and creepy enough that I think it's alright. I'm actually kinda hoping I get stood up, I dont know if that makes me even sadder than I think I am but screw it.

What??? That's ridiculous!! What about Batman forever on the Snes?? That game was so good it was almost as good as the movie, which was clearly the best Batman movie ever made. Yes you guessed my secret identity, I am Batman's greatest foe, Opposite man!! Oh wait, no I'm not.
Escort missions are the worst definitely, I also hate the 'Where do I go now?' moments and I've never been a fan of boss battles. Strange then that one of the highlights of my year was playing Ico and SOTC or Escort mission and Where do I find this next boss battle as they might be called.
I must admit, while I don't think Heavy rain sucks I do desperately want David Cage to realize that he really needs to work on his writing and directing. The plot, characterization and execution of both Heavy rain and Indigo prophecy were so cheesy and cliche ridden it was almost unbearable. I can't believe that anyone who thinks Heavy rain was a deep mature drama has seen anything deeper or more mature than Saw 3.

Other people paid for their game too and are just as eager to have a good time playing. Try compromising your own personal idea of enjoyment just a little to help everyone enjoy themselves a little more and you might even have a better time overall, you'll certainly get into less petty confrontations.
The actual game wont be any harder but the disc will come in a solid steel lockbox encased in concrete and you'll have to win a blindfolded knifefight with the biggest cashier at Gamestop to get it.
I just finished SOTC last night having played through both games in order.... What can even be said?? The final hours of each game are two of the best gaming experiences I've ever had and easily the most emotionally moved I've been by a game since Half life 2. Also, I'm not ashamed to admit that my first glimpse of the final colossus made me pee myself.
He asks us whether he should review the game then goes on to tell us he absolutely hated it. That's a review, it's not a good one but it's a review. It doesnt matter if i say,'i'm not going to review the new Indiana Jones movie but i hated it, i thought it was boring' I'm still reviewing it regardless of whether or not i told you i was.
To be fair, if i were to complain about a franchise that totally holds your hand through every challenge so anyone with no skill can play like an expert and keeps releasing the same damn game under a new title every year for suckers the world over to buy and play again, i could be talking about COD or Assassin's creed.

It's so good that it's almost unpleasant to play because I can feel it getting closer to the end. Even when I try to hold it off by doing as many side missions and random encounters as possible, every moment feels like a unique event that I'll never be able to experience for the first time again, it makes me Want to give it a rest for a while so I can savour it a little more but I just can't stop playing.
