It hasn't been duplicated because it's not worth it. In theory the system sounds great but in practice, it's not interesting at all.
A better comparison would be how the PS4 is doing vs the PS2 launch aligned. Last I heard the PS4 was outpacing the PS2.
Sony shows off indie games.
"PS4 sucks. More like Indiestation. Am I right?"
Sony doesn't show off indie games.
"Arrogant Sony is back shitting on the little guys."
Honestly, Sony could offer everyone on the planet a free PS4 along with the entire game library and people would bitch about not being able to play PS1 games on it.
A $500 console that only plays xbox one games isn't going to makeup the 30 million deficit it's currently facing. Lifetime, the Xbox one will handily outsell the one x.
According to MS, the PS4 Pro isn't a "True 4K" console because some games run at native 4K and others run at checkerboarded 4K.
According to MS, The XOX is the "Only True 4K" console because some games run at native 4K and others run at checkerboarded 4K.
There's no refuting Phil Spencer logic.
According to XOX fans, checkerboarding is garbage and not really 4K on PS4 Pro.
According to XOX fans, che...
Would you rather play the original SotC PS2 disc on your PS4 or this complete remake? Sure BC is nice to have but the masses don't use it and given a choice between playing the original vs a remake/remaster, I would personally choose the remake/remaster.
Stats don't lie. If BC made business sense for Sony, they'd implement it. They see what MS is doing. They see the numbers reported by them for BC use. They see the numbers for people buying 360 games. They'v...
Sony has a higher ratio of releasing E3 announced games than MS or Nintendo. Not sure why Waypoint is attacking one company.
Why is it impressive that a $60 thing outsold a $300 thing? It would have been impressive if the NES Classic was $300 and it outsold the PS4/XB1.
Yes the PS4/XB1 are regularly priced at $300. The Switch is $300 as well. The difference is, the PS4 and XB1 came out 4 years ago and despite being 4 years old, is still more powerful than a Switch. You don't think a piece of hardware that just came out, and is markedly weaker than hardware that came out 4 years ago, being the same price isn't being overpriced? Of course you'll inevitably break out the, "can you take your PS4/XB1 on the go" argument. And no you can't...
They didn't give it 4/10. They gave it 2 out of 5 stars.
Forbes is on crack.
It doesn't take a lot of work by anyone to get Netflix on a device so why not have it? What's the downside?
If people aren't buying an XB1, why would they shell out more money to buy a Scorpio? The game library will be 100% identical to XB1. Of course there are people that will buy one, just like there are people that bought a Pro, but they're far and few between. The way MS is positioning Scorpio, at least out of the gate, is baffling. They should be drawing a line in the sand saying Scorpio is brand new, powerful, and look at these exclusive games it'll have PLUS 100% BC with XB1'...
It's Charlize Theron. Fury Road is his favourite movie of all time. He watched it like 20 times in the span of a year.
It's not a WiiU port. It's a Switch port. The game was made for the WiiU and finished. It was held back for the Switch release.
I agree. People like Japanese games because they're different from Western developed ones. There's really no sense in changing what people find appealing in your games when any attempts to do so haven't fared very well in the past. A recent example is Dead Rising as a series. They've progressively killed it by taking out all the Japanese quirks and making it more and more Western friendly.
It's because XB1 owners have nothing to play most of the time. That's why they look forward to 360 BC compatibility announcements so much. If you're a PS4 owner, there are more games to play than there are hours in a day to start off 2017.
There are so many PS4 exclusive titles to fill in the spaces between big 3rd party games but that's not the case with XB1.
The damage control is getting out of hand. Sure Netflix is on a million other devices but it's not a positive that a portable device doesn't have basic multimedia features.
Next thing we'll hear people say is, "it's a good thing the Pro controller is $70. It means it's got great build quality and won't have to be replaced as quickly as the $55 ones from Sony and MS."
Or, "it's great that the free single NES game ...
PS4 and XB1 comes with plenty of storage. A hell of a lot more than the Switch. You could argue that Switch is a hybrid but if it's also going to function as a home console, it should have more storage than it comes with. No one can possibly argue against that. Especially when they know games and patches/DLC are huge. Zero foresight on Nintendo's part.
