Have you ever played a WRPG where you were absolutely dumbfounded by the weird shit the party members were wearing? Google it. Japan didn't invent lingerie armor on women.
There's really nothing to discuss. The launch lineup is terrible.
Launch day
1-2-Switch - not even a game. should be a pack-in novelty thing.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - available on WiiU. Was made for WiiU.
Skylanders Imaginators
Just Dance 2017
Those are what you have to choose from when you go to the store to pickup a Switch on March 3rd. How can anyone not think that the lineup is terrible?

lol, funny article. I think he was being sarcastic. How does he equate 32GB of internal storage with Nintendo going towards an all digital future? Yeah you can buy SD cards but that's added cost and not user friendly. Even 500GB for basic PS4/XB1 isn't enough for all digital.
Didn't we already know this? Shuhei even talked about playing the game and it being a new IP.
I dunno. It's missing a disc drive so no bluray player or 4k bluray player. It's not powerful enough to support VR. It's not powerful enough to support 4k gaming/upscaled to 4k gaming. Unless Nintendo has completely overhauled their online infrastructure, it's going to be terrible. It's missing a few things right out of the gate.
The new game was cancelled. This is just a remaster.
It's not powerful enough for VR.
Nintendo hasn't relied on 3rd parties since...SNES? N64 and Gamecube had some support but it didn't matter. Wii and WiiU didn't have any. People get Nintendo hardware for Nintendo 1st party games. Even when 3rd party games were put on their hardware, the customers didn't buy them. That's why 3rd party support inevitably ended every generation.
The Switch will get ports and maybe a few exclusives early on and they'll sell terribly and support will end and 1st p...
Not sure it's wise for this dude to be airing dirty laundry to the public like this. Future employers aren't going to want to hire someone so quick to sell them out. As they say, loose lips sink ships.
"It is currently estimated that 25 million Xbox One consoles have been sold, meaning that roughly 12 million consumers have used backward compatibility AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER, give or take a few due to multi-console owners."
The uppercase part is the key. Of those 12 million, how many actually make decent use of it. How many have actually played through an entire game with BC?
FFXV doesn't feel like it has any spirit from FFs of old.
Love ace combat!
Take away Uncharted DLC and TLoU2 and it was still an amazing conference filled with games from start to finish with little to no talking from suits.
$250 USD means it's pretty weak hardware. Plenty powerful enough for a handheld but severely lacking for a home console. Keep in mind that Nintendo never takes a loss on hardware. This could be a first but not likely. Which means it's even weaker than what you'd expect from a $250 machine.
I was hoping they'd go all out and put out a $400 USD worthy machine. Uber powerful for a handheld and completely competitive with the likes of a PS4 or even a Pro.
It's been handled terribly. We've known about this thing for over a year. Nintendo themselves said it exists. Then they do a so-called "reveal" trailer with zero information. Then they say no info in 2016.
It would have been handled well if we didn't know a thing about it, then in January they drop a trailer, specs, price, games, and a release date for March.
Damn, not coming out in 2017 then.
If it's true, then the developer is of zero consequence because no big dev house is going to ignore an install base of 50 million to move their games (plural) over to an unknown product. And it's not like Nintendo is going to throw the cash around that's needed to tear away multiple PS4 games in development to garner exclusivity rights from a big 3rd party.
The delay was to work on the day 1 patch. Instead of having it downloadable, they delayed the game to include it on the disc. Now they're still having a day 1 patch with an important camera update. I'm not pissy about it. I have no problem with day 1 patches, big or small. I'm just pointing out that the excuse he made was pathetic 2 months ago and this day 1 camera patch proves it. He made it sound like he was delaying the game for some altruistic purpose so gamers all over the wo...
"We have completed the master version but when it comes to that highest possible quality, we felt that we had not quite reached that version yet. In order to make this master version an even better product, we have been creating a downloadable add-on known as a day-one patch."
Tabata acknowledged, however, that the "substantial" day-one patch requires an internet connection, and would therefore not be available to all players.
"T...
Yeah Nintendo is doing it so much better than PS4 with that whopping 32GB of internal storage. Sony should definitely follow their example.
