seeing all this gears news lately, i picked up gears again thursday! man the campaign is great co-op...finished it on insane. i'm just waiting for the 4-player co-op to get announced.

the ps3 or any future sony console will never break 100mil again sorry! sonys domination of the market is over! they mite scrape past nintendo this gen, but you can guarantee sony wont get a major victory, and wont ever again. after the spanking nintendo is giving them in japan, and the double penetration they've recieved in NA. they're damn lucky europe has kept the ship afloat, and kept sales almost respectable...considering their last two consoles, the ps3 is a shadow of the previous two. ...
especially when i switch the colours to vibrant! people do know there is a seeting for vibrant in gears???? or is it just sony fans that dont, and try to say that there's no colour in the game???????????
anyway, i'm colour blind(well a red/green deficiency!) and i like to have colourful games. if red and green are to intermingled, they just look like browns to me...and i have a nitemare seeing the red-dot sight in ghost-recon on some levels,
anyway, too human has 2 player co-op....what ps3 rpg does that?? apart from oblivion, is there any rpg's on the ps3?
i'v been playing gears co-op this week, and that game rocks full stop. does need 4-player co-op though. i'm still on the fence about ng2 though. ng on the xbox was difficult to frustration levels! it seemed to me that the devs made it so hard because there was nothing but run/jump/hack/slash repeat over and over til the end.
fable2 is looking good, and too human is a first day purchase for me! i'm really looking forward to some co-op on too human.
come on, i know there's some real saddos that dwell on n4g...but this is getting ridiculous!

multi-player gears has always been great fun, and some new varients can only be a plus...the meatflag sounds crazy.

it better seeing as it's arriving a year AFTER the 360 version! but that's not always true, lost planet came a year after the 360 version, and looked worse.
even the my girlfriend who i lived with at the time played them aswell! i would love to see oddworld return...i use to love the slig reading the news at certain parts of abes exodus. they always made me laugh. and possessing them was great aswell. just hurry up and make it already!
it's the first time i've played it in ages...and i enjoyed every minute of it. but i was wishing for 4player co-op aswell. after what he said in the interview, i'm thinking that it will be so with gears 2!
if they do, it's gonna be an awesome for sure. gears is a great game, if they can expand on it, and make some things better...then gears2 could easily be the second biggest game this year. just after gta4

coz it does look amazing. but, that could well be the best and most optimized engine to be made for this gen of consoles. thats the only thing that seperates the two.
killzone has been in development since when? late 05? early 06? when it hits, it could well represent nearly 4 years of dev time! plus it's without doubt gonna be one of the most expensive productions this gen also. nothing on the 360 has had the investment plouged into it, and no game engine has yet been made to matc...
so obviously the increased disc space allowed rockstar to make their game run at a higher res than the 360 version?? and free radical to make their ps3 exclusive game at what 576p? i wonder what they used all that extra space for?

and i agree that microsoft are being more careful. but i think they do need to add a couple more studios to their portfolio. i would like to know what bungie threatened in order for microsoft to let them fly-solo?! obviously microsoft retained all rites to halo, and without doubt have got exclusivity on all their games.
as long as doesn't turn into another "getaway", the devs should take their time and get it rite.
i mentioned the getaway for a few reasons...it took an eternity to build, cost a fortune and was delayed time after time. but was absolute dog-sh!t when it was released. and it was a sony first party game also.
i can see that you hate the fact that sony no longer dominates. but it's true! sony have fallen hard this gen! the game-cube and xbox launched just over a year after the ps2, but the ps2 had alreay sold more units than eithr of those could've dreamed of reaching!
