How To Repair Ship in Star Citizen
Traveling through space in Star Citizen is a blast, and I enjoy every aspect of it. From exploring to dogfights in space, and even hauling cargo, Star Citizen is a sci-fi dream. However, throughout your journey your ship may come under some damage and need repairs.
Keeping your ship in good shape is crucial to avoiding death in the dark void of space. Fortunately, repairing your ship is an easy process with plenty of opportunities to do so. That said, let me help you keep your ship in tip-top shape!
How To Fix Your Ship in Star Citizen
To repair and fix your ship, you must go to a hangar or landing pad. These can be found at most space ports. Ensure you request permission to dock, otherwise your ship may be impounded, which is not only a hassle but embarassing. Here is how to repair your ship and fix damages in Star Citizen.
- Press F1 to open mobiGlas
- Go to the Vehicle Maintenance Services tab.
- Select the Repair service.
If you are unable to repair your ship, you may need to retrieve it from the vehicle retrieval terminal. You also need to let the repairs finish before trying to take off. I haven’t discovered what happens if you do, but keep an eye on the repair gauge and let the repairs take their time. But feel free to test fate if you are feeling up to it.
Hangers and space pads also provide other services. These includes refueling or simply resting from the vast expanse of space. Star Citizen’s universe is beautiful, especially with the right graphic settings, but don’t forget to check out the interiors as well. You can also take time to explore on foot and check out your created character. Just don’t get stuck or you may need to reset your character!
