Developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, this game pits you and up to three of your friends against alien enemies, threatening to destroy Freedom, Democracy, and Super Earth. Helldivers 2 is a squad-based shooter, where you can choose between various missions that include extracting valuable data, destroying enemy bases, or eliminating their leaders. Each of these missions will give you experience points, needed for level-ups. But is there a level cap that you can achieve and what is the max level in Helldivers 2?
What is the Max Level in Helldivers 2?
The maximum level you can get in Helldivers 2 is 150. The level cap was 50 until April 02, 2024, when it was increased to 150. However, it is going to take a lot of time playing to reach Level 150. The main draw in grinding levels is being able to unlock some of the most powerful stratagems. And every five levels you unlock new Titles, which is always cool.
How to get to max level in Helldivers 2?
The best way to get more XP and thus level faster in Helldivers 2 is by farming missions on higher difficulty. For instance, attempting missions on Challenging and Hard with a well-orchestrated team is a good place to start. Then, the goal should be to not only complete the mission, but also clear every side objective and spawn point on the map before extracting.
For the highest numerical XP gain, you can try to do the punishing Helldiver difficulty missions. However, attempting these could be a net loss in the long run. That is because they could take longer to complete that a string of missions at a lower difficulty one after the other.
What do You Get From Leveling Up?
Unlocking new and better Stratagems requires higher levels. For example, the Railgun Stratagem requires you to be at least Level 20 to unlock it for purchase. New levels also give you more Titles to choose from. However, for now, not a single Strategem needs you to be anything more than Level 20, meaning that the level 150 cap is meant for Titles and bragging rights.
