There are a lot of Booster to choose from, and knowing them all is half the battle. Read this article to learn how to use the Increased Reinforcement Budget Booster in Helldivers 2.

For your Loadout, you have to pick a lot of different gear. There is Armor, which represents your level of protection and speed, there are your Primary and Secondary Weapons, Grenades, up to four Stratagems, and a Booster. Boosters are squad-wide bonuses and picking the right ones can be crucial for the upcoming mission’s success. Increased Reinforcement Budget is one of the Boosters you don’t see that often, so let’s check it out. Let’s see how to use the Increased Reinforcement Budget Booster.

How to Get Increased Reinforcement Budget Booster in Helldivers 2

Increased Reinforcement Budget is a Booster, that you can unlock when you reach the last page of the Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond. It costs a whopping 150 Medals to unlock, which makes it the single most expensive Warbond item in the game.

What is an Increased Reinforcement Budget

The Increased Reinforcement Budget Booster will increase the number of reinforcements from five per player to six per player. For example, a full squad will start the game with 24 reinforcements, instead of 20. Simple as that.

Is Increased Reinforcement Budget Worth Taking?

For a Booster on the last page of a nine-page-long Warbond, and costing 150 Medals, the Increased Reinforcement Budget is a little lackluster. Usually, players would like to take something that helps them survive in the first place and stops them from ever getting to the point where more reinforcements per player would be helpful.

But, Increased Reinforcement Budget does have a place in the game, albeit a niche one. This Booster is useful in those missions where a high mortality rate is expected. Missions like high-difficulty defense and Blitz missions, or those “special” missions like the fort-defense mission or the Deploy Dark Fluid one we recently had.

Using up a whole Booster slot for something that will only be useful once your squad dies 20 times (in a full squad of four people) is usually not the best move. But, in those niche situations, the Increased Reinforcement Budget can be very helpful.
