The first Patch for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is finally here, so read this article to see all the improvements and new features that have been added to the game.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the latest aRPG, and is the talk of the town. The game features many cool monsters and NPCs and has stunning visuals. But, it is not without any issues. The players have been reporting difficulties with frame rate and various bugs, not to mention the inability to simply start over. With that in mind, let’s see what the newest Dragon’s Dogma 2 Patch has in store for us.
Full 1.05 Patch Notes for Dragon’s Dogma 2
The DD2 1.05 Patch addresses various issues, but the most significant is the “new game” option. Earlier, you had to dig through the game’s files and manually delete your progress. Now, an in-game option to delete your progress and start over has been added.
PS5 players got some more options for graphics, but Capcom stated that these won’t affect the overall performance that much. The frame rate improvements will be coming with future updates.
Xbox gamers have yet to get their own patch, but the devs said that it is planned in the next few days. Hopefully, Xbox players won’t have to wait for long.
General
- Adding the option to start a new game when save data already exists.
- Changing the number of “Art of Metamorphosis” items available at Pawn Guilds in the game to 99.
- Making the quest that allows players to acquire their own dwelling (where they can save and rest) available earlier in the game.
- Miscellaneous text display issues.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes.
PlayStation 5 Specific
- Adding the option to switch Motion Blur on/off in Options.
- Adding the option to switch Ray Tracing on/off in Options.
- Adding the option to set Frame Rate at Max 30fps in Options
Steam Specific
- Improving quality when DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is enabled.
- Fixing an issue related to the display of models under some specific settings.
