In Dragon’s Dogma 2, there are a handful of ways that you can pocket Rift Crystals, also known as RC. This includes the following methods:
- Open chests — This isn’t the most reliable method, but it’s worth a shot. You can pocket much more than RC by opening chests, so be sure to check out anything you find.
- Defeat enemies — Again, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll pick up RC from defeated enemies. However, there’s always a small chance.
- Repair broken Riftstones — Some Rift Crystals can be found throughout the open world by repairing Riftstones. You’ll want to make a habit of doing this anyway, but you’ll earn a small amount of RC in the process, which makes your effort worthwhile.
- Hire out your pawn to other players — The most reliable way to earn RC is to hire out your pawn to other players. Technically, others will decide whether to recruit your pawn themselves, so you don’t have much choice in the matter. However, building a solid pawn with sought-after skills, inclinations, and a good specialization will get them hired, earning you significant RC in the process.
Best Way to Earn RC in Dragon’s Dogma 2
All things considered, the best way to collect more Rift Crystals is to have other Dragon’s Dogma 2 players hire your Pawn. Of course, this means you’ll need to put your marketing skills to the test, as there are plenty of companions on offer in the Rift.

At the moment, many players are looking for companions with healing abilities, so the Chirugeon specialization is somewhat of a hot commodity.
