Are you wondering how to upgrade your weapons in Dave the Diver? Here’s everything you need to know in one place.
Dave the Diver is a game in which you take long trips down the Blue Hole to collect fish and other aquatic wonders. Armed with your trusty knife and harpoon, it is your task to bring back fruits of the sea back to the surface. Along the way, you have to brave many dangers, which is where well-maintained and upgraded gear comes into play.
Ways To Upgrade Your Weapons in Dave the Diver
You will need to upgrade your weapons to deal with more and more dangerous creatures in Dave the Diver. The fish get tougher the further you progress, so make sure to stay on top of those upgrades.
In order to upgrade your weapons in the game, you’ll need to find Weapon Enhancement Kits in the sea. There are a couple of different types of these kits, each corresponding to your weapon type. For instance, you may find one for your melee weapons or for your guns.
You will need to scour the sea to find Weapon Enhancement Kits. They are pretty easy to notice, thankfully, due to their bright yellow color. They are shaped like briefcases with a weapon symbol on them. Depending on the type of kit you find, you will be able to upgrade your arsenal of weapons, such as:
- Red Sniper Rifle
- Grenade Launcher
- Hush Dart
- Japanese Sword
- Shark Harpoon
- Triple Axel
- Tennis Racket
- Sticky Bomb Gun
Moreover, there are other enhancements that can make your weapons “upgraded” in a different way. For example, you can find different harpoon tips that can change the way they operate, like giving them poison or lightning damage.
When you have a kit for the weapon you want to upgrade, go to the weapon’s menu and click Upgrades. Select the one you want to upgrade and then Confirm. That way, the upgrade kit will be applied to your desired weapon.
