Check XDefiant’s Server Status

Because this is a connectivity issue, it is best to start by checking the status of XDefiants servers. In the case that the servers are down for any reason, be it scheduled maintenance or because they encountered some issues, there is nothing to do but wait for them to come back online. Luckily, there are a few ways to check the server status for XDefiant, and we go over them all here.

Restart Your Platform

Restarting the platform you are using to play the game is a known way of fixing issues like this. Simply restart your chosen platform, which will terminate all the processes your platform might be running in the background that might cause this error to appear. When your platform fully boots up, try to play XDefiant again.

Restart Your Router

Restarting a router can fix connectivity problems like error Mike-01. Because this is a connectivity issue, a bad or slow internet connection can be the root of this problem. To restart your router, unplug the device from its power source and leave it a bit before plugging the device back in. Wait for the router to fully boot back up, which will provide a fresh internet connection to your platform. After this, try XDefiant to see if the error persists.

Update XDefiant to the latest Patch

Sometimes, errors like Mike-01 will appear if players are trying to connect to the game using an older patch version. Make sure that you are running the latest patch of XDefiant to ensure that errors like this do not appear. To update the game to its latest version, start Ubisoft Connect and locate XDefiant in your Library. If some updates are not applied to the game, here you will see a download option instead of a play option. Click on download and wait for the game to finish before trying to play XDefiant.
