A new PvPvE game will soon be released, titled Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game. heavily inspired by a movie with the same title. It features a team of Killer Klowns and a team of Human survivors, all trying to outplay each other. So on that note, will you be able to play it with friends, and over different platforms? Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game – Will it Have Co-Op?
Yes, Killer Klowns will have co-op. The game is practically based on team cooperation. In Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, players are separated into two teams: Klowns and Humans. Three Klowns are pitted against seven Humans.
Klowns are the “bad guys” of the game, a group of extraterrestrials bent on harvesting the population of a small town named Crescent Cove. When playing as the Klowns you will have otherworldly abilities and wacky weapons at your disposal. You will get to choose between several different Klown characters: Jumbo, Spikey, Chubby, Rudy, and Shorty. Another is available, called Slim, but only by pre-ordering the game.
The Humans are your standard horror movie stereotypes and they represent the citizens of Crescent Cove. You get to choose between five different types: Teens, Punks, Cops, Rednecks, and Bikers. Each type has its strengths and weaknesses and you will have to rely on teamwork and resourcefulness to beat back the evil Klowns.
We are still unsure how will matchmaking and groups work. Most probably it will be similar to Dead by Daylight for example, where groups can only play as humans. But in Killer Klowns, we expect that groups of up to three players can choose to play as Klowns, but groups of four to seven players can only play as Humans.
Will it Have Bots?
Yes, it seems that Killer Klowns will have bots, to populate the game until human players join the match. They are there to reduce the lobby waiting time since a single game needs to have 10 players. Waiting for 10 players to join in at the same time is next to impossible, so bots will be there to keep things moving.
Will Killer Klowns Have Crossplay?
Yes, the game is tagged as “cross-platform multiplayer” and “cross-platform co-op”. So, it is safe to say that Killer Klowns will fully support crossplay. That means that no matter what platforms you and your friends are using, all of you will be able to enjoy a little comedic horror action together.
