The PS3 is disappointing with its rather deflated launch.360 is a new console with a higher price tag and it is bound not to sell in abundance like the cheap PS2, It's obvious!. I really don't understand why people stick with sony after all the rubbish they have shafted to consumers in the lead up to this abismal launch.
Yes, But as it stands there are more movies on HD DVD and they getting better reviews than the blu ray counterparts and i'll be watching them soon, when I too get on the HD DVD band wagon. No blu ray for me I'm afraid!
GRAW seems to get forgotten but I was totally stoked about that game when I first got my hands on it. GOW is the game that has given me absolute convidence in the 360's abilities to deliver awesome games though.

Not a real gamer with no proper understanding of all the consoles plus and minus features, Just read the sales jargon from sony and believed it! He would probably buy a sony brick! this sort of article does not suprise me coming from our good old BBC. they are not very good at unbiased, even though they would like you to believe they are.
I personally was really happy with the launch games of the 360, PGR3 had me hooked for months and I still think it looks good now, as well as COD2 and ghost recon etc. I think your being a bit unfair! yeah GOW looks amazing now and I still can't belive it but I certainly would'nt dismiss all of last years games and say the 360 had no killer app...I've been having the most fun on a console in the past year than I have ever had since I started played games in the ZX81 days, and I have a growing...
I like It, The 360 has got character! not that I hear it too much anyway. I'm usually too busy talking to my friends and playing games on live.
It's talking about tv's that don't support 720P, the 360 will do 720p on a tv that supports it but older HDTV's don't, so it upscales to 1080i instead!
Have you ever worked on programming for the PS3 or the 360? You seem to be well advised and I am just curious.

I agree with you about the hard drive but everything else you mentioned I would strongly disagree. I've never played anything quite like LIVE and it has caused me endless grief from lack of sleep as I have to force myself away from it in the early hours of the morning. I have friends who were die hard PC onliners who have now converted and...I'll bet that out of millions of xbox live subscribers already, only a few will grumble at paying for it!

I bought my 360 nearly a year ago just to play games but...after enduring a year of not being able to see all the detail on a standard TV now I seriously want a hi Def TV soon...after that I will defininetley want the HD DVD add on. What's cool about the whole thing is I never really intended to go HD, but now I have the bug and can slowly convert at my own pace, and the cool thing is....It will only cost me £129 because I already have the console and Tv is on the horizon soon!
P.S. Please check out the official spec sheet and you will find the wireless does not support A. my point was that sony have left cetain bits of information on the other consoles off, which surpass the ps3 in spec. It would be nice to know about RSX for example. It is clearly biased and cleverley worded.
microsoft are not that far off their predictions, just a few more days to go and we shall see, I reckon 9.5 million total units sold! I think Microsoft have sold a suprising amount of consoles in the last month!
