I took this from the responses direct to the article and it seems to me that the post seems to be more truthful to the actual situation and seems to be another attempt by sony to twist figures ( wouldn't be the first time).

Planet earth is one of them, Has sold more on HD DVD so far and 300 on HD DVD is actually the better version with more stuff on the disc!
Yeah in sales figures but not when it comes to what you get on the disc, HD DVD has loads more stuff on it and is actually the better version in that respect. watching the green room footage and the finished product with picture in picture is actually quite interesting.
This is just one of the reasons why I have despised Sony for years, It's terrible for such a company to act in such a way and this is just one in a line of many other under-hand tactics they use for their propaganda machine, What about the things that are not found out! I'm not saying other company's are perfect by any means...but Sony, you should be ashamed.

Plus I really liked the way you can watch the green room scenes at the same time as watching the movie to see how and where they added the special effects.
P.S. why would someone disagree with me about the fact I'm agreeing that I like the 300 movie.
And it's also news from bluray.com.....in the last week the charts have taken a swing towards HD DVD again, http://www.hdgamedb.com/ama... So we shall have to wait and see what happens next. Blu-ray, I like the idea of the technology but not the way it has been handled and the way they bypassed the DVD forum, that's my biggest gripe.
If HD DVD had not existed, Blu-ray would be expensive and not as good as ...

Do you ever have anything constructive to say...thought not!, Bioshock looks like a fun game and I really enjoyed the demo to get an insight into how the game will feel to play, but people like you will hate on this game just because it's not on a sysytem of your choice? how pathetic. Give credit where credit is due even if I'm wrong and you just don't like shooters.
Our Game in the south west has HD DVD's, I bought some recently!
Got and watched it on HD DVD! great film and just like the reviews suggest.. it has the extra features which are not included on the blu-ray, Bet it sucks not having that java thing sorted properly!

If you have a HDTV and a 360 it is a brilliant low cost buy, I have one and have loads of movies now! If the format war does end up Blu ray dominated which I hope it does not because of the way they have handled the release of blu-ray with lack of standardization and leaving early adopters in the lurch with the lack of support for the upcoming new features, then I will not be to upset because the initial outlay was so small to get into watching HD movies and enjoying them.
The mega CD is not in any way comparable to the HD DVD add on, It was for games use and not movies. there is no confusion on xbox 360 when it comes to what format games are released on unlike the situation with the mega cd....any way sonic CD was awesome at the time!
I live in the UK and get my HD DVD's from DVD world USA, Just got the 300 yesterday and the movie quality and interactive features are brilliant and it's not even out for relaese in the UK on DVD until the 1st of october 2007. They are cheap too because of the current exchange rate!
But Warner have sold more planet earth on HD DVD so far, things are still close considering the amount of people yet to join the HD Market.
