question is how does it perform now, the game isnt that great to begin with.
Not to mention all the heat they generate what that could do to your health. Its cool smart phones get more and more powerful, but really the heat generation is over the top.
4k gaming machine isnt hard at all.
I built an HTPC back in 2009 which cost me 1000usd. The specs were as follows:
I5 750 oced to 4ghz
4gb of ram
5870 GPU
This was a high end system back then. Anyways this year i upgraded the ram to 16gb and i upgraded the GPU to a 980ti. All of this cost me about 800usd.
So after serving me 6 years an 800usd upgrade later the machine is again ready to go for another 6 years e...
Every software behaves differently, no dx12 games are out yet. All of this means nothing until you see actual DX12 games running.
Well every company tries to fool the public. Look at the all the boasting we get from the console makers. Before the start of the gen they always make lofty promises that they can never deliver on. Yet the fan base always believes the hype.
I would say there is certainly alot more transparency when it comes to PC hardware. Bottom line many PC gamers dont care about loyalty they will buy the hardware that performs the best for the money.

The last time i owned an AMD GPU was back when 5870 was released. After which i gave up on AMD. I just think their drivers are garbage.
I bought AMD because i wanted to try eyefinity. A game like TF2 would be stuttering in eyefinity even though it was reporting 60fps. It was complete utter garbage. If i disabled crossfire the game felt smooth. Enable crossfire and its a stuttering mess.

Except PC has better versions compared to the console counterparts. Even when the PC versions are screwed most of the time they perform better than the console version.

Played inquisition(divinity original sin before that) few months before Witcher 3 lol. So yea i am pretty much done with RPGS for now. I wanted to play pillars of eternity have it on my steam library, but just dont have the will to start another RPG lol.

Well Xb one is a console. One would expect its already very well optimized as they code to the metal from get go. DX 12 doing anything much for XB1 is just hype. Just like using MS servers to improve performance was hype. Nothings going to materialize out of this.
On the PC yes we should see good improvements. Since PC uses APIs to communicate which should see improvement with DX12.
So dips down to 15-20fps on console are all of a sudden better lol ok.

Most of the time when PC gamers say its a bad port, its still running better than the console version lol, its just PC gaming has much higher standards. 30fps locked on console is the holy grail yet on PC its considered down right terrible.

AMD is a console sell out, as a pc gamer thats the last company i would touch lol.
If anything Its AMD thats the reason for the entire industry slow down. The sooner they go under the better for the industry.

If you look at it there are more bad ports on consoles vs than on PC and even then when PC does have a bad port it still runs better than the consoles.
Claiming "the PS4 version runs great" sure it might be console standard which means not dipping down in to the teens as most games do on console. Again even in their poor state most PC ports run way better than the console versions.
Sony should be careful with their claims imo. Last time around when they were promoting 3d they had everyone hyped about it. People bought 3d TVs later only to get little to no support.
Yet again it was the PC platform that offered about 600+ games in 3d (still does support newer games in 3D). Imo i have a gut feeling morpheus being hyped on console is just another marketing check mark they will drop support just like 3D and Move.
Hell yea why would it be limited. 1080p might be the roof for the consoles. Yet its just the floor on the PC.

And countless others on the PC. In comparison PS 4 library is small at best...
