Dam looks bloody amazing. GTA 5 is one game thats going to be on my PC for a very very long time.
The problem is driver support, AMD is usually lacking in that area.
Well to be fair, we have too many games on the PC now. Hence new sales dont really attract us much any more.
Its not like console where entire libraries are wiped clean every gen then you need to buy games all over again for the new platform.
Though i agree if valve intends to push Steam they should do something different. Maybe make games exclusivesly for Steam they have over a 100 Million user base so why not? Check out a game like Dota 2, its exclusive to ...

Well the PC version could be bought for 5 usd. Plus if you bought it last gen, then there is no need to buy the game over and over.
Also 1080p for this game on PC is a very low res. You could easily run this at 4k DSR with mid range GPUs out today. Also worth noting its sad that a last gen remake cant hit 60fps on both the new consoles.
Play on a harder level i guess, i am still at the beginning stage of the game. However i choose to start as hard difficulty.
The need to spend 35M on advertisements alone just because of the console version. Thats more than the cost of the game itself. If anything its due to consoles the budget is so bloated.
If the game was PC only they wouldnt have needed to spend 35M on advertisement either, advertisement is mostly done to cater to the console market, advertisement actually costs more than the cost of the game.. Game would have been easily profitable on PC.
I could buy games on Steam for 5-10usd when they are on discounts. paying 5GBP for 2 days rental is outrages.
Steam not equal to all of pc gaming. Add in the other networks pc gaming will top ps4 too.
You do realise steam is not all of pc gaming. Hence if you add in the rest pc probably out sells the ps4 too.

I previously had 3x 1080p monitors for Nvidia surround(note DSR does not work with Nvidia surround), However i think 1 monitor with 21:9 is better since it removes the bezzels and it requires less GPU power to run vs 3x 1080p. Also since its 1440p it just looks better vs the 1080p mon...
I have a 3440 * 1440 monitor 21:9 aspect ratio, after DSR i can hit a resolution of 5160 * 2160. At which point any game barely needs any sort of AA.
Needs a Pair of Titan X's liquid oced to 1.6 ghz to pull this resolution off.
Both are amazing games i had 2 replays on each. W1 is very old now and will run on just about any PC. W2 is more demanding and will require midrange PC in todays terms to max it out.
I am currently playing GTA 5 @ 5160 * 2160 DSR resolution on the PC. With some tweaks, The game looks bloody amazing.
It doesnt matter if they bring Halo or not. PC is a juggernaut when it comes to games. Due to the PCs inherent advantage of BC, over the decades such a collection of games has been built on to that platform it doesnt really matter if a halo game comes or not.
Just so many shooters on the PC already along with every genre you can think of, its mind blowing the amount of games PC gamers have access to.
Either way its good for the gamers. The same pressure should be applied on console companies too.
PC Performance improvements in the last patch were awesome. I hope we get some more performance improvements.
Just bought Pillars of eternity, cant wait to play it once done with GTA 5, Total War Attila, and Witcher 3 lol. So much back log on the PC.
All between regular rounds of Dota 2, CS Go, Teamfortress 2 & Left4dead 2.
Well even the best of hardware is useless without driver support. AMD first needs to start working on driver support.
