The Initiatives game has already been confirmed to be revealed this coming year. It's already in a playable state. Confirmed. There's also already been games shown to be released next year as well. Not to mention still a long way to go for more info to come out. Can't wait for E3.

It's also way overpriced in comparison. I think the fact that he felt the need to mention this says a lot about the power gap & their concern. The gap is shrinking in terms of power. There's an undeniable exceptional value in consoles. No question that PC's can be vastly superior (spec-wise). There are different reasons to own a PC over a console. But you're also going to pay through the nose for it. It's also been proven that consoles don't need all that to provid...

I think he already mentioned the idea that he wants a spread of games throughout the lifecycle. If I'm not mistaken he said he wants to have like 3-5 first-party games a year. If everything goes as planned, we could be in for an epic generation. All the work they've done has led them to the next generation. It's right around the corner and so far the hype is real. There's more to come too over the next few months. 2020 is going to be hype city. And I'm counting PlayStation...

MLB going multiplatform is not that shocking. I don't understand what that has to do with this idea that Sony is now going multiplatform. Major League Baseball is NOT owned by Sony. So when the licensing contract was up, MLB being a major world brand wanted to be on multiple platforms. It was either make the game or lose the license. That by no stretch of the imagination means Sony is putting thier IP's on other platforms. What evidence is there to say that Sony's 1st party multip...

Spencer has said it multiple times though so I don't get the sudden outrage over this. He doesn't like the state that VR is in right now and this comment quite simply just explained why they haven't focused on it. In the bigger scheme of things, he doesn't see it as a worthy cause to dump money into right now and simply put, the majority of Xbox players are NOT asking for it. And to be frank, neither are the majority of gamers, period. Stop trying to push an agenda that doesn&...

As a Destiny veteran since the good ole D1 Alpha.. what concerns me about Bungie till this day is how the community needs to consistently tell them how to make the world or simple encounters better. I get that feedback is a major resource in all games, but if you constantly need to be told how to make an encounter rewarding and worthy, the issue is deeper than what's on the surface. It's beyond frustrating. Did they really need to be told that this final encounter could use something ...

So the game on Xbox got a 5/10. It goes to Switch, adding the word "New" and improved camera angles makes it an 8.5/10. Gotcha. *dies*

Just in time for the big sale on consoles this Sunday.

Disappointed this is strictly a VR title, not gonna lie. Fans have waited a long time for a further installment. To be fair people have complained there isn't enough quality games being made for VR, so maybe this is what the space needs. To leave out the majority of gamers tho is a rough & bold move.

lol... in all seriousness though, campers get a bad rap, IMO. yes it's a boring & "cheap" way to play but would you dart out in the middle of a warzone in reality? I get that it's only a game, but people play to win and put themselves in the scenario.

Just missed the deal earlier in the day. Can't say I'm blame them but heard people were buying 3-4 at a time. Sucks to miss it. Savages.

I thought it was just me. Can't count how many times I've been killed with someone right in front of me.
"WTF? He was there the whole time!? I gotta get my eyes checked"

I like the idea too. It builds hype to the big reveal. Mention the games coming (which is still a big deal) and then drop the big reveal later. I actually really like the fact that they've been hush about it. New IP's (stoked about a new Rare IP also) and mentioning games now is just as important and good enough to carry this show tomorrow. If Xbox plays their cards right they could really hype that reveal up to a fever pitch if they keep it on the low. I'm very interested in what...

Wouldn't bet on it. They've already said it's coming Holiday 2020. Probably just MS holding their cards close to the chest until the right time. I'm not surprised they're not talking yet and I think that's smart. Especially making it all about the games. Get the game hype going and then talk about the new hardware.

Death Stranding is far more interesting than MGSV. Despite it's criticisms.

The leaked info sounds like a great show. It makes sense to talk about what's ahead for games and save the whole new console business for next year. No need to rush the info out and I think it's smart that MS is letting Sony do all the talking and showing some of their hand early. Hopefully, they come through because they're last few showings have just been OK. Now is the time to keep building that momentum they have mustered up and keep it rolling into the new year.

Being the head of PlayStation Europe wasn't a hard job. Europe is a PlayStation market by default. Always has been. They have minimal competition due to them owning Europe. Sony laid everyone off over there too. A sign they were going to promote this guy. He's said some pretty head-scratching things in recent past so to say he's ripe for taking over the whole show is a bit overzealous in my opinion. He's got plenty to prove to me.

I think people are missing the point. It's not the Metacritic score that's the problem (although IS a major issue once you get the point). It's the narrative in the actual reviews. The concern that I have is the highly-rated reviews when read, sound highly suspect. Words like "unique" and "art" or "artistic" are red flags for me. It's like saying your way-too-small apartment is "cute" or "cozy". Not to mention the words "b...
