wow do the graphics look bad. If anyone has played the original, they'll recognize the black sky background as the gameplay mechanic for when you go into a transformed state. Which means the game will probably play like the first one did for the wii: horribly. Considering the DS has one of the best fighters ever in its Bleach series, I'm extremely disappointed about the wii version, not looking forward to this at all.

Gamebosh Review: Bleach: Shattered Blade

Gamebosh writes: "If you're looking for a glossy Japanese beat 'em up with unrealistically proportioned women and swords the size of small oak trees, chances are you'll like Bleach: Shattered Blade very much. The trouble is, if you've never heard of the Bleach comics, which are simply huge in Japan, you'll be scratching your head about the confusing plot in-between the fights (something to do with collecting shattered sword shards so the characters can enter the human realm again).

If, however, you are a fan of Bleach and own all the Manga comics, the three feature films, the animated TV series, the soundtrack CDs, the trading card game, seen all seven rock musicals (?!) and own the eight video games (available mainly in Japan with a few released in Europe on the DS), then you'll know exactly what the Sokyoku shards are and what they mean to the main character, Ichigo Kurosaki."

What other games has he worked on? He's overrated though. You can barely understand what he says.

I was really amazed with how good the voice overs were in Persona 3. I loved Akihiko's voice the most. Looks like many of the Persona 3 cast were mentioned there. Also the guy who did Tidus' voice is the same as Ratchet? Interesting.

No Quinton Flynn?

You know, the guy who voice-acted Raiden (MGS2 and MGS4), Axel (Kingdom Hearts 2), Henry (No More Heroes), Reno (FFVII: Advent Children and FFVII: Crisis Core), and Spider Man (Marvel: Ultimate Alliance). Of course, this excludes a few anime voice acting he's done :P

Oh man, talk about discrimination. If there is one voice in videogames that is recognize it is Keith David. Where the love, he should of definitly been on the list. Lets look at his credentials. Videogames: Halo 2 and 3 - Arbitor; Saint's Row 1 and 2 -Julius; Mass Effect - Capt Anderson; Fall Out - Decker; Planetscape: Torment - Vhailor ; Lord of Everquest - Lord Vekk; Transformers the game - Barricade. And he does cartoons also. The two main ones he is known for is Gargolyes- Goliath and Spawn - As Spawn. And if you did not know about Keith David and his voice work than you been living under a rock.

Paula Tiso over Keith David WTF

Cubed3: Bleach: Shattered Blade Review

A fairly enjoyable experience, coupled with an interesting take on the Wii-remote fighter experience. More flexibility on how you play, and what you can play would have upped the score. Stripping away the characters and franchise, and you can see its problems and limitations compared to more experienced fighting games.
