Ryudo, a young Geohound mercenary, works odd jobs with his companion bird Skye. Hungry for some gold, they agree to accept a request from the village of Carbo. When they arrive at their destination, they hear a beautiful voice coming from the Church of Granas.
Eager to find out who’s singing, Ryudo heads to the nearby church and finds Songstrees, Elena, practicing vigorously for an upcoming ceremony. From this moment on, the three embark on a journey to prevent the return of Valmar, the god of darkness.

"The Grandia series is one of the most underrated RPG franchises so allow me to take you back to its roots and see which game is better." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Grandia 1 by realy far, grandia 2 is ok, but too short and zero difficulty, 0 side quest.
Grandia is coming to Switch this winter. According to a statement by publisher GungHo, Grandia and Grandia II HD Remaster are both heading to Nintendo’s hybrid handheld.
OMG!!!! I absolutely adored number one on PS1 and number 2 on Dreamcast, these are two of the best JRPGs ever made.
This is quite epic news!!! The Switch is becoming a must own console for JRPG fans.
Never played the original but did play 2, 3 and Xtreme. 2 is up there in my list of top RPG's. This is great news.
This is an instant buy - Grandia 2 is still one of my favourite RPGs of all time!
