Gamers will soon be able to experience the first three action-packed narratives of operative Sam Fisher and rediscover the original Prince of Persia trilogy. Both are being re-mastered in high definition with 3D viewing capabilities.

Adam from GamersFTW asks "Who are gaming's top juggernauts, the characters that don't stop pursuing and don't know the meaning of quit?"
Really great list, there is nothing like a challenge! Some of these guys definitely aren't going to let you get away... I think that too about certain game protagonists, especially in RPGs, like have you not just seen me kill that dragon??
Good list - Nemesis is my personal favourite relentless enemy. But No.1 is a very good shout. As GLaDOS rightly says: "You monster".
In Final Fantasy 8, the giant mech spider X-ATM092 can be evaded until it is destroyed by Quistis, or beaten by a particularly strong party, but in the FF8 demo, this time named X-ATM082, you can run, but you cant hide, and he is impossible to defeat outside of the Quistis event. Terrifying.

"Forget that Sam Fisher had ever turned into a disgruntled ex-agent with nothing to lose. Before all that, the wise-cracking stealth operative snuck his way into one of 2005′s greatest games, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.
Ubisoft Montreal tapped Brazilian electronica maestro Amon Tobin to craft the music for the third entry in the stealth action series. You could tell that the company was proud of the soundtrack, given that the album was released two months before the game was even out."

To this day I still find myself humming the tune from the cargo ship level, great game and great soundtrack :)
The ambient/subtle music was (and still it) always nice to listen to in the first 3 games. Perfect for setting the stealthy mood, while not overpowering the other aspects of the game (unless you got caught, then that music blared adding nicely to the chaos).
Im not a big SC fan but I own the game because of the soundtrack. I was into electronic music at the time & buying Tobin albums. Never finished the game. Maybe I should have just bought the OST. I just get impatient with sneaky deaky games in general.
I wouldn't trust the Splinter Cells, they just may be straight up-rez's ports of the PS2 versions.
3D? Even with the up-rez, I can't see this being awesome in 3D.
Im definitely not buying the splinter cell trilogies. If they could get rid of that stupid three alarm in the first two games. Then i might buy it.
only on ps3!!!!
