I’m not s huge AC guy but I bought Origins (mostly just cuz I knew it looked good on the X and I wanted to see it firsthand). Turns out I’m actually having a great time with it. I’ve heard AC get a bad rap in th past so either I am missing what’s generally bad on this one or maybe the fact that it’s different is a good thing. Regardless I def see myself playing it through. And yeah it is def gorgeous on the X (and I assume all consoles to their respective degrees)
A-FREAKING-MEN! i still can't get over how badass this machine is. every game i play on it just looks so much better. you notice it even more when you hop back on a different console. the differences are pretty striking. even on my One S F7 looks kinda simplified and aliased compared to my X. even the colors don't look at as good. my pro fares better comparatively than the one S but even it looks typically softer and less smooth in comparison.
It was a mediocre game that deserves a sequel to make it a good game. The potential was there. The gameplay was not. Those cinematic were tho...
And game pass, 4k bluray, Dolby Atmos, 4k hdr capture, hdmi passthru, game gifting better customer return policies, it’s quieter, consumes less power... in terms of hardware and features it’s no contest.

it still plays multiplatform games better than ps4 and ps4 pro. it still has a faster network than psn. just because it doesn't have some ps4 exclusives doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile. it kills.
Straw man argument. Ms never forces updates. If anything, refusing to update let’s you continue to play. The only difference is when there is a network compatibility issue because of an update, play is limited to local only... which if you don’t have a connection shouldn’t be a problem. It’s weird. When I boot up the one X I see plenty of games to play. Of course the more you restrict them down to only games that Sony has (ok it has to be exclusive, it can’t be on pc even tho Sony does that too and it has to be released in the last year) sure Sony has more exclusives. Currently right now I am not playing ANY Sony exclusives and I own a PS4 pro. . What I am playing is AC origins, GTAV and F7 and Pcars2.

Not in person or when playing. Way sharper on the x and runs smoother too. The textures and texture filtering are superior on X. I literally have both versions running on the same tv. And also on the X there’s virtually no pop in because so much is loaded at once.
