pretty good list. But I liked Cid, Tifa, Barrett, and Red 13 from FF7 a lot too.

And my favorite overall are Steiner and Beatrix from FF9. Steiner was the man.

I would recommend Steam. They cost about 10 dollars each on there and I am sure that by now your computer can easily handle them. They are both several years old, and some of my favorite games.

And I hope that you are joking

Don't forget Battlefront for those Star Wars games

@ morganfell

I agree about the game, and while I enjoyed the story the gameplay mechanics were eh at best.

But about the Star Destroyer, there was a book once (unfortunately I forget the name, otherwise I could provide it as evidence) where from the cockpit of an X-Wing, Luke ripped large enough chunks out of the hull to bring it down. Which is pretty cool.

But then again, Luke was the son of the choosen one, trained by two of the greatest J...

With all of the money and hype built around it, you would have to be blind not believe so. Initially, through the holiday season and into next year, it will be successful.

However, I believe the long run will be a different story. I am not an expert nor an industry insider, but in my gaming opinion, I feel that it will go the way of the wii with large interest at first, and then not enough enjoyable games (or only a few every once in a while, still not enough to justify gett...

Use Drake and Elena for co-op. Because the game is so much about story, it would be really detracting if there were 2 Drakes. Feel like something would lost.

As a huge Star Wars fan, enjoyed the story of the first one. But as a game, it fell short. It was a rental.

And in a similar way, I am sure I am going to enjoy the story of this game, but it will also be just a rental for myself. A fun enjoyable rental though.

This is unfortunate IMO. I always finish my games-mostly because I spent the money to pay for them. For me, I have always liked a good plot driven game. Hence, why UC1/2, Assassins Creed 1/2, RDR, Infamous, Batman AA, Dragon Age, and a number of other games I own are my favorites. The plot keeps me interested and wanting to play through to the end.

Even games I just rent, I mostly rent them for the plot (Force Unleashed, played my buddy's 360 for Gears and Halo).

*cough* COD *cough

At least they did not kill the character 4 times in one game. Gave you some time to get attached to Hale.

How do you have a kinect already?

I would say that Kratos is not a hero. He is more of an antihero. Does not really do things for the betterment of others, but is really selfish and out for revenge. Love the games though.

But Nathan Drake deserves to be on there-starts out as a selfish robber who then, realizing the consequences of what is going on, is swept up into something bigger than himself and acts with good intentions. Yeah he deserves to be on there.

There are quite a few that I think that I like more. Off the top of my head I really like Nate and Elena from Uncharted-mostly because they seem natural and have funny banter.

*SPOILERS* (but is from FF7, so you should probably have played it by now)

And I also disagree with Cloud and Aeris. This is the subject of many a debate, but Cloud and Tifa are, in my opinion much better. Aeris annoyed me and I never brought her with me. So I did not really care when s...

Thing is, that all depends on them. They should have delayed the first one for a bit longer and worked out the kinks. Instead the first one gave a great story with extremely poor gameplay.

It was a great rental for myself to see the story (and if you care about story, I would say play it), but that was about it.

I agree Necrum. I have been looking forward to Battlefront 3 forever.

And would love a Bounty Hunter sequel with Boba Fett.
And KOTOR 3 to finish Revan's story.
And a Republic Commando II to continue the story, or would be excited for an Imperial commando game, playing as elite stormtroopers.

And Jedi Knight is just cool.

My point being, you just named a wishlist of mine. And I have no idea why they have not made those ...

I have been interested in Demon's Souls, and now this is even more enticing. But for those who have played it, I had a few questions.

Is it like Dragon Age/Mass Effect (plot heavy) or Fallout (great gameplay but kind of a poor plot)? I have always been a sucker for a good story, so that is clutch.

I also know that it is really difficult, but frustratingly so?

Basically with an RPG I like a good story to keep me interested, and everything...

I only just recently downloaded both final fantasy 7 and 9. It was not remastered or anything and it was great. Really enjoyed it. I also got Marvel V. Capcom 2 and it only seemed to have the online component. Still an extremely fun game.

Oldies but goodies. Called classics for a reason.

What I expected. Once the games get going on it, I look forward to it. Until then, I am going to sit and see, but glad it got a good score. Seems to have potential.

Thank you. Yes. It is not talking about money spent on the entire PS3 brand vs. the Xbox 360 brand overall. In that competition it would be a very good showdown.

It is talking about where they allocate resources. Basically the marketing division at Sony is not as large as the marketing division at Microsoft. Well, everyone has known that for years. Both companies choose to allocate their resources differently. In terms of marketing, they choose not to compete with Microsoft....
