I hope they don't because I love Uncharted. But taking a little break for a few years can't hurt anything. Make it feel fresh again, etc. Looking forward to new projects as well.
this is putting the cart a little before the horse. I am excited too, but let's not get to far ahead of ourselves. The game was only shown last night for the the first time...
I know in the article he said the DA2 one is not a side quest... I get it. But to me the same can be applied to ME2. It felt like there were only 3 real missions and the rest of game and gathering the team was just a laundry list of side quests.
haha i call myself a gamer and yet have never played chrono trigger. I think I am going to have to try it then. Thanks for the info.
I was not much of a fan of some aspects of the older final fantasy and sukoiden JRPGs PERSONALLY. Really enjoyed them, but I could not stand the random encounters, same with pokemon. Those were so irritating.
So when KOTOR came along, I loved it. That is my type of RPG. I consider it "older school" but none of the random encounter battles. Same for DAO, which is why I loved it so much.
Mass Effect 1 was pretty good, but as far as the change/shift in...
pretty good list, and would agree with about 80% of it. Would have put Gears of war 3 and Infamous 2 on my personal list though
Wish infamous 2 sold a bit more. Its close to the million mark so that is fine. Its just for me, outside of Batman and Uncharted, inFAMOUS is my 3rd favorite new IP this gen. Love those games.
They must have been trying to be realistic...
Thought that i missed a page or something there because the author forgot batman, little big planet 2, and gears 3. Its been a great year for gaming.
Great points, and sums up how I feel about the game. PERSONALLY, I have always preferred Bioware RPGS for this reason. Their focus on story is second to none. I am all for long games, I just like to have a reason (plot) to keep me going. If that is there then I will play all the time, and get to the conclusion. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to sink into a game to explore if it is not going to reward me with a storyline or a reason to keep going.
I tried Fallo...
that is one thing i was wondering with the move to online codes for activation, etc. I am sure GameFly is not happy about that.
for me it was annoying when i first noticed it, but has not stopped me from playing through twice now and about to start crushing.
I think the window is the main problem-STOP CLUSTERING GAMES IN A MONTH AND A HALF WINDOW PLEASE. If they were spread out would be a little bit better, and would help some games not get lost under the awesomeness that we are currently seeing.
That is one of my biggest gripes with call of duty as well, and why I will not be picking this up. Might rent it later, but that is about it.
Another thing that is sad is my friend has had his xbox for 3 years. He has 4 games: GTA, COD MW 1, MW 2, and BLOPS. He is getting 3 soon. When there are so many GREAT games that have come out in the last 2 months alone, that makes me disappointed.
I really liked Fereldan/Dragon Age universe. Same with Mass Effect. And I am suprised to not see any Elder Scrolls or Fallout mention in there.
Glad he had a good time with it. But as much of a fan I am of Star Wars, I personally have my serious doubts. Everything about this game just looks like bantha fodder...
I have always liked using best buy. Don't know why, but I have my rewards card forever now so I usually just go there.
I agree. First time through any game, I always just play on Normal. The way I have always interpreted that difficulty is "how the game was designed to be played at." And then on my later runs will amp up the difficulty.
And I would love to see a website start using a 10 point scale appropriately, giving the average games scored at 5s instead 7. Will never happen, but would be interesting to see.
catherine was the newest on the list as far as I could tell
I am really excited for this game, and have been buying Naughty Dog games since Jak, but guys, we need to pump the breaks on the hype train a bit. It is getting a little out of control for the few specks of information that we have. I just don't want it to get built up so much that it becomes a letdown that can't possibly meet the standards people have conjured out of thin air.
