Yep first with Witcher 3 they gave us all the classic pack-ins like the old days with maps and fully realized booklets and now keeping everything level for everyone. They are the people’s company. The only incentive for preorders should be the ability to make payments on a game your interested in but may not have the means to pay for all at once.

Nier automata is soooo good!!! If you like the writing and storytelling I hope you played it all the way through all the endings. The game really does itself a disservice by rolling the credits and calling it another play through. The second game is different enough to be considered a continuation and the third play through is completely different and bonkers.

Ask them how that went with Microsoft and scalebound. Also gen is not defined by console power.

I don’t think the original model will get a price cut for awhile. I think Nintendo’s strategy will be the switch lite at $200 the standard at $300 and then a pro version late next year at $400 just before the PlayStation and Xbox consoles hit. It seems most people assume those consoles will start at $500. Really not a bad strategy if it plays out that way as long as the switch pro is at a minimum on par with a PS4 pro.

I love the collection and just hope they keep going until they are all rereleased.

It’s totally in the realm of possibility put out a new game using the same game engine in 3 and a half years. Aonuma has said they are already thinking about the next Zelda when the current one hits the market. I also think Breath of the Wild was finished before it’s release and was held to launch with the switch. So it could be as much as 4 years of work put in if it releases late 2020.

So really almost nobody commenting actually read the article. The gist of the article is actually praising Sony and their stable of AAA gaming franchises. The comparison to Nintendo is saying they should continue to lean into the beloved first party franchises Sony has just like Nintendo does. That’s it!!! It’s ok to read the articles before jumping into wild speculation of what’s actually written.

That’s awesome but kind of sucks for me cause I’ve literally done everything and gotten every trophy so there’s little reason to go back. Been hoping for a second season of story dlc but I’m starting to think that’s not gonna happen.

I’ve heard the switch port has 2 problems. One being that it’s buggy and laggy which seems like an easy enough fix but the other is that when compared to the PS4 version it looks like a ps2 game. That’s the one that has me bummed. I feel like this would be a good game to play on switch but if they can’t fix the graphic quality then I’ll have no choice but to get the PS4 version.

Not to put too much thought into it but there was that tweet a few months back that did come off like it had a bit of shade in it. I can’t remember it’s wording but it was about how you don’t need a PlayStation to play Detroit:become human. Who knows.

Didn’t Rockstar say the same thing about GTA5? We saw how that turned out. Of course they aren’t going to say it’s coming to next gen consoles when it’s initial release is on current gen. That don’t want people holding out for the next gen version. I know I personally would if they said that. Instead they can let everyone buy it in April then offer some kind of updated version in the future.

Almost 2 and a half years in and the switch is doing better than ever with nothing but momentum. What’s your definition of a fad? Wait don’t answer that I should know better than to feed the trolls.

I like how so many people keep dragging American politics into this when it’s a Japanese developed game.

I’m really starting to believe there’s a good chance that the supposed upcoming Switch “pro” or whatever they call it will have a DS cart slot and the ability to turn the system sideways and play like a DS. That library is too vast to just let them go die with no way to port them in the future.

Summon animation has been one of the best parts of final fantasy even back in the old days. I wish the newer final fantasy games weren’t so stingy with them cause the little they let you use them it still looks amazing. I just want them to make a FF where you can collect all the summons and use them as you want as long as you have the MP for it. VII might just be the one.

Uh this was published after Nintendo’s E3 direct which clearly stated that not only is secret of mana coming to switch but all 3 original games dropped on switch at that moment 2 days ago so not sure why the author of this article says it’s a solid no for it coming to switch??!

I immediately got the feeling that this game will have proper Zelda dungeons. My guess will be you have to go to the dungeons to get items to seal Gannon away for good or something along those lines. Can’t wait.

I was just about to say something similar. Why would you put the worst assassins creed on switch when the best one Black Flag should be totally capable of running on switch.

Save it from being the number 1 selling game every year for the last 10 years or so except 2013 when GTA5 came out? I don’t even play call of duty and I know it’s doing just fine. I’d rather see an article about franchise that might actually need saving.

I do miss the days when info and data mining wasn’t so readily available and you would unlock things in games without having any idea what that thing might be. You’d be completely surprised to see you unlocked a whole new circuit or in fighting games new fighters you didn’t know were there. Can you imagine how cool it would be if when smash came out you just had those starting characters but no idea who and how many you might unlock then see them unveiled one by one.
