I only just noticed my PS4 pro fan getting really loud since I started playing Horizon Zero Dawn. For some reason it hates the map screen and kicks into high gear whenever I pull it up.
The real question here is will we get the bath house scene in the remake? Haha
I remember when the original wii came out and they would put no less than 2 classic games on VC every Monday. I miss that.
I wish I Didn't already know the plot twist cause I never got to play it back in the day. I'm worried it won't be as impactful knowing the ending.

Almost a year later and we are still getting click bait article about Breath of the wild. I've put in over 400 hours into and it's easily my game of the year. I also found Skyward Sword to be a big disappointment so I can't be accused of being a biased fanboy.
No especially when it comes to Wii U exclusives. There were some really great games on that system that nobody played that now have a second chance to reach a new audience. It's not like when they port a game that already sold 10 million copies last gen and now want you to buy it again this gen.
Even though I've wanted this remake forever, I recently replayed final fantasy 6 and now wish they would have remade it instead. It would benefit a lot more since it was originally a super NES game and it's arguably the better game between the two.
My gut predictions
God of war- march 22 possibly pushed no later than April.
Red dead 2-gets delayed until early September.
Detroit become human-June if red dead gets delayed August if not.
Spider-Man- early November
Days gone- early December or scrapped
I think the lack of release dates all revolves around Sony waiting to see what rockstar is going to do with red dead. Persona 5 I feel like is an a me too hat would do well on switch. It's so long that playing it on the go would help make it less daunting.
How's about they give us an epic and fun single player story driven game and these conversations don't have to be hadn't. I'm sure EA would still find a way to screw that up.
I would use my PSVR way more if it had HDR pass thru. I love VR but I still play my PS4 pro the majority's of the time so switching out cables becomes a real pain when I just want to do 30 minutes or so of VR. Bummed they didn't think about early adopters and allowing us the ability to just get a new box.
In defense of final fantasy 15 Square must have done something right cause its only the game besides skyrim I have platinumed and I play a lot of games. Now i cant put finger on what exactly it is about the game that got its hooks in me but whatever it is it worked. It's the first game in the series I've played to completion since 10 and I've played all but the online games and 8. I think there's still a place for it. People seem to love persona 5 and it's turn based. Same with South Park stick of truth. If done right it can still be fun. There's a lot of forward chess style thinking involved in turn based combat which makes the victories so much more more satisfying than just mashing buttons. I just started up final fantasy 3 on the SNES classic and it still holds up cause all the pieces around it make it work.
I would just love a numbered Final Fantasy that goes back to its roots. Turn base down or ATB, an engrossing epic story, a story that's much more fantasy based ala final fantasy 4 or even 9 and for god sake let me fly the airship myself all over the map like in the old days.
Resident evil 7 proved to me that VR has the potential to be a game changer. Just doesn't seem like many developers are interested in crafting a quality game using the tech to its fullest potential.
Maybe they should just try making a modern turn based final fantasy. It's been like 15 years since a mainline final fantasy was turn based and that's also about the time the series started to become divisive among gamers. I think now is the perfect time with games like persona 5 reminding people that turn based rpgs still have a place in the industry.
Yeah the intermittent black screen drives me crazy. For the longest time I thought it was my new tv and I was freaking out but after doing some research it turns out it's a common problem with the PS4 pro.
