Probably not, 3G transponders are quite cheap these days, then again it keeps them from the expense of CDMA units, though it would be more effective on a 4G service.
Christmas will be next year, but people won't be so excited about it, or lining up for it, since they know there won't be a shortage. Yes, good launch titles are great, but the 3DS is getting some decent titles at a cheaper price. Why let your competition get any edge?
BF3 has a lot to offer--with Team Deathmatch, you not only have people spawning on a larger map, but you have vehicles and aircraft, groups taking their own strategies, and a lot more of a cohesive 'team,' since you can't play BF3 like CoD unless you have a lot of patience.
CoD has small maps, instant spawns and no vehicles without killstreaks. There's a different strategy there entirely.
It's bad business for Sony. Americans generally tend to spend big bucks in December due to the holiday season. Releasing the Vita after December 25th is a dumb idea, especially since it gives the 3DS the Christmas edge. I appreciate the extra time to make sure it's perfect, but they've lost a huge vantage point.
I'm also pissed off at that 3G exclusivity deal. WTF Sony--Verizon or Sprint--please forget about AT&T before we start dropping service again, I...
Crysis 2 DX11 maxed out? Come on, that's a dumb statement, most cards aren't capable of running that at a preferred framerate--namely because they didn't optimize the code, they just slapped the update on the game. It's to your PC what wearing a fur coat in Vegas is to you. I'll tell you what though, it will run any game better than consoles. In fact I can already tell that you'll be able to max out Battlefield 3 at it's console resolution (and even at console reso...
Yes, depth of field, not field of view. Been getting all confused since the release of Minecraft has allowed me to play Doom style, haven't said "FOV" in a long time xD
You might want to take a look at this:

But if you want to compete with CoD you need at least 40 maps. And lets not forget you also need 100+ pieces of DLC to make yourself comparable. You also need a subscription service that really shouldn't be there since most of the DLC will be finished by release of the game.
/sarcasm ^^
...Bethseda, you've written your words in blood for the world to see. If it isn't "indistinguishable," my foots going somewhere uncomfortable in your ass. I already wasted money on Brink, and I'm plenty willing to return to GameStop or Best Buy telling them the game "doesn't work" and demanding my money back because of a lackluster experience.
...Just kidding, I'm buying the PC version :)
That's because console fanboys don't flock to articles about Battlefield 3 when they're in sentiment to the PC. Disagrees are mainly in ignorance of fact, not in truthful, whole-hearted understanding of a point. If you look at the Late Night footage of the PS3 version, you'll see very quickly that there is no field of view, no motion blur, and I'm pretty sure that there aren't any shadows, since consoles aren't powerful enough to handle actual high quality shadows-...
...is working for actual money, instead of paying a game to work *cough* WoW *cough*.
Finally, Blizzard gets it. Hallelujah.
People are afraid of the truth, too--it hurts--people here deny it. You may be better off spreading that truth where people appreciate it--and lengthy educated discussions, like Ars Technica or Kotaku where people actually READ your argument and don't just glance and disagree like little troll/retards. N4G, depending upon the article, can be ignorant and unforgiving, as people do not agree with:
1) Change. Example: new console--oh, now I've somehow started a flame war because ...
Because cloud gaming requires an extremely extensive--not to mention, expensive server library to stream your game over the internet consistently in order to game. That means you need internets. They're talking about shit like Onlive. Not Steam or Origin.
Course those type of download speeds won't come for another 10-15 years, and hopefully everything will be wireless by then.
Even... electricity O.o *cue dramatic music*
It isn't 720 lines, it's 704. Any PC gamer will easily justify that for you. However, in relativity to consoles--it's the closest you'll get today. I'm surprised they didn't drop down to 1024x600--600p on consoles is what CoD runs at, and it certainly helps the game performance wise.
This sounds like Fox News, not video games.
Hopefully you lose a bubble, you have no educated opinion and you don't deserve one, at that.
Didn't they cut out a whole bunch of open-world content so that it would be "equal" on the 360?
...Microsoft. The lifeblood of every mistake. Like that new PC you bought instead of buying a Mac. You didn't even get a gaming PC, so why the hell did you even waste your money on a computer anyway? Its not like you needed to support Microsoft after they raped your fat wallet with Vista...
No timed delays on content from CoD Elite. Timed delay on DLC Map Packs--this is Activision's sneaky little way of getting the PS3 and PC players back into CoD, since they already screwed themselves once and don't want to do it again. Every month they'll be releasing new maps and modes for (ten, twelve?) months, for all CoD Elite players, so that the experience never gets old. Unless they release maps right at launch--which I don't see happening, since it would cause a lot of ...
It's sad that people think disagreeing will make them look smarter, when in the long run, just shows how ignorant and stupid their opinion is when you place a frame of glass and anonymity in front of it...
Remember people--say it with me--you're not disliking, you're--what you're--"dis-a-gree-i ng." Yeah, there we go, good job kids! Now what is the difference between disagreeing and disliking? Disliking is when you don't like what someone else has to say-...
Jesus fanboys. Shut the fuck up and listen to your ignorance.
Lets talk about BF3 for a second here.
We know BF3 has destruction, better graphics, and anyone who plays or supports BF thinks killstreaks are for noobs who need help getting their KDR up. But it is for this reason BF3 is not for all gamers because it does not cater to the same audience as CoD. The number of noobs and trash on CoD far outweighs the number of hardcore players. And this is why CoD succeeds. ...
1) Death penalty (wait time before spawn will kill out people without attention spans).
2) Large maps (which will kill out people who want their quick kill fix).
3) Ranked players have advantage over new players (which will kill out people who want to feel like they're having fun instead of just blatantly getting owned).
Runner's Up: Only headshots are 1-shot kills with snipers, all body shots take 2+ shots. WTF DICE?!
