I guess, but a lot of these sites looking to belittle the game look for instances where the game's shaders drop out like screenshot 4. It's like the site that just complained about the ragdoll physics in the trailer. This is an alpha build, there are plenty of graphical bugs that need fixing--so we know this isn't a reflection of a final product.

Screenshots that are on the 360 version aren't screenshots of the maxed-out and modded PC version. So why try to stir the pot? We all know the PC version will look better than this.

Thanks Fox. You've officially given any Republican gamer out there a bad name.

I think, if this article had been reworded like this, it would have had some stability. But the way it's worded in it's current state is completely retarded.

I don't think making it a third party game would have helped it--the game felt dated. You can't jump, and because there is no stealth to the killing, you can't use the "Rainbow 6" excuse--that was a huge let down for that game. Though it's a great co-op experience, it's not worth $60. I felt like the game wasn't accessible to our audience, either. Nobody really knew what it was, and it wasn't necessarily 'fun' unless you were under circumstance. ...

I think it looks better than ever.
This is all alpha footage, the footage shot is the footage shared for E3, when they were only showing off their alpha build from several months prior. The majority of the sounds that you heard have yet to be implemented correctly (like the feet clacking) or aren't implemented at all. The video was meant to have a soundtrack over it for the lack of ambient noise and such, just remembering Morrowind and Oblivion.

The Witcher 2 and ...

Lots of movie tie-ins and bullshit up until Quake 4 and Wolfenstein--which were both made in partnership with id. Lets hope they're the same here.

Yes, something they'd never do. Like take out quick-scoping, add lag to then kick the host from the game because he was redirected as the connection, make spawn camping worse, never balance their guns and make the game run around 40FPS. Thanks Treyarch, and just so you know, MW2 feels more polished.

There is no argument--PC is better if you have the patience, time and money you can have one of the best gaming experiences possible. But if you like to just plug in and have fun, the console is the best kind of experience you can have. Two different types of machine for two different types of gamer.

What I was saying was, how could you not pick up on his sarcasm?

You did say "when Greywulf is only slanting the other HD system." He's not slanting. To assume so makes you look like the fanboy. Not saying grzajabarkus isn't (total fanboy), but ICO/SotC isn't necessarily a title you see and immediately think "strong AAA PS3 title that will make millions."
You say you try to cap an argument that needs no bounds, when you could easily bri...

My point exactly. Go back to XP. Buy a GPU that came out in November 2006, that uses almost 200 watts that started AT $800, exactly a week before the PS3 came out. Get a decent 64-bit cell processor or at least a good Intel processor. Then get 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a good power supply. Oop! You need a good 700GB-1TB HDD so you can store your games on your HDD without worrying about HDD space.

Finally, at $1800-2200, you have built your tower that can kill the PS3. That's al...

Hell, if the graphics look like The Samaritan or Avatar, the head direction controls the right stick, and you have two Wii-like or Move-like controllers with haptic feedback or even some kind of rumble, I'm all for it. It's the way of the future baby!

Not that I want to be a dick or anything, but you're really the only one looking like a fanboy here. He's not slanted toward the PS3--though, from a defensive fanboy standpoint, you could definitely confuse yourself into thinking that he was. All he made was a statement.

I do have a list for you though.

The more you troll people about how they're fanboys, the worse a fanboy you'll look. We have sort of a silent policy here. Present a strong and factual or short but entertaining argument to your defense and we'll accept it. Present opinionated bullshit and you'll get flagged for trolling. N4G is a website full of fanboys, but we're not so ignorant about it anymore. Try to be mature about your fanboyism, or you'll just get disagrees. Especially if you present false info...

I don't want to spoil anyone's fun here, but this game is going to look like Crysis 2 looked on consoles. 25FPS, ugly unless you're standing still, and lots of framerate drops.

People paid $600 USD for a console 5 YEARS ago because it was the cheapest way to get those kind of graphics with a blu-ray player at the time. A gaming PC with those specs would have ran you at LEAST $1500, not to mention all the problems we were having with Vista. There was no Steam and people who wanted their PC games went to Direct2Drive or Gamestop (or TPB, if you're a total douche).
Now you can get graphics that are way above console standards for $500 because the PS3 and 36...

These were terrible games to show a comparison on. Stylistic games that use the lack of AA to their advantage make the games appear more crisp and stylized. AA is good for realistic approaches to games, like Crysis, BFBC2 and DiRT 3--smoothing those unpleasant pixels--and that's only when the game has at least 8xAA and 16x anisotropic filtering. MLAA by comparison is crap, and a better GPU would solve jaggies in a split second.

Maybe consoles are getting too old. People want the next best thing, and most people who want to buy consoles have already done so.
