You mean, I not only will receive maps the same time as 360 players since the map packs are the only thing that are timed exclusive, but I can stop paying for CoD Elite at any time and keep the maps?! Holy shit!
Only now do I see the errors in my judgement.
Listen up world! CoD Elite no longer sucks ass. In fact it's the best idea ever imagined for any CoD player who was pissed off by timed delays.
Activision once did something right. And they'...
...Just not now. Once Microsoft gets over it's God Complex and realizes that there are other people out there that want to play with their friends on other consoles, they might. However, with it's forced pay to play policy, I don't imagine we'll see a change until it opens it's eyes and realizes that other console consumers are also potential customers. So I don't see it happening until Microsoft drops it's XBL pay plan. You don't have to be a fanboy to realize...
The PS3 sales will be great if they got more people into the game. What do I mean?
Put the beta up on the store to get people into it, not just have the beta restricted to those who bought Medal of Honor (like me).
Advertising would help too. I think a lot of people have forgotten how advertising affects sales--I mean, look at Deus Ex--advertising on ESPN, FOX, FX and Comedy Central--not just Youtube--has certainly helped it achieve what would have potentiall...
Oh, and while you're at it, stop making people pay for XBL.
There you have it, a better console.
You didn't even know you had it in you Microsoft!
Sometimes MS, I wonder--what's going on in that mind of yours? I mean, no self-respecting corporation spews that much shit out of their mouth just to troll. Especially since they're definitely smart enough to know better. Right?
... /sarcasm...
Because that just means BF3 has more content than we previously anticipated, and that's better than compressing it down to an 8GB (possibly 9GB) disc.
It's the same thing with RaGE and I greatly appreciate devs not butchering their games for the sake of fitting on a disc or two (*cough* I'm looking at you FFXIII, 3 discs wasn't enough apparently! *cough*)
They also decreased the contrast, but unfortunately for this Dev blog, it's not hard to tell.
I'm surprised at the disagrees, but then again, I understand.
In one way, it kinda looks like a kid trying to prove to his friends that Santa exists, when they know full well, and have just told him, that he does not. The other way, it looks like Bigpappy just believed a whole bunch of shit one website told him.
Well, lets be frank here...
Bigpappy, is, in some ways, right--in stock market, Sony is down bigtime. Regular people don't see the difference ...
Am I really the first to make that distinction?
lol, but anyway, this is sweet. Hopefully this gets big and everyone can try it on for size.
1) Open world zombie-killing game
2) Open world zombie-killing game
3) Open world zombie-killing game
4) ... wait, there's more to it than just it being an open world zombie killing game? No way, that's too good to be true...
There isn't much a difference. In fact, it looks like there was more depth and shine in the previous then in the '12 version.
People are pissed off because we know there's nothing we can do about it. Optional is great, but each game should have large additions in content that's focused on one thing, not large additions in content you have to buy. CoD:MW3's only bonus is that it comes with 16 maps on disc. If that's not more than 10, or even 5 more than any other CoD game, that is just sad.
I was actually okay with the pricepoint for Black Ops--since they included Zombies maps, I didn...
But seriously, I want this. It's the perfect combo. 360 early content and PS3 exclusives. Win.
I know it may seem a bit off-topic, but why is Respawn Entertainment still using the Impact font? I thought after CoD they might have a little bit more originality concerning their logo...
@infamousinfolite: Yeah, there was RROD for an early launch. Remember the early launch problems of the PS2? It's just an issue with launching without testing. Of course, the 360's lineup picked up when the PS3 was released, which I think is what brought people to it. Of course most games were and still are primarily developed on 360 because it was the first console released. So most third party games (granted, not all of them) but MOST run better on the 360.
Knowing Microsoft,...
After food, bills, insurance, gasoline, savings and rent, at minimum wage even full time, $80 is a lot of money. Unless you're living with your parents and they pay your insurance.
I'm not whining. I'm observing the ground as a canvas, seeing all the extra space that they have the ability to utilize and critiquing it as a whole. I'm disappointed that it couldn't be more given the resources--it just feels like a plain old paint ball course. And this is a multi-billion dollar franchise. The way they've advertised the event, the way it's paintball fields alone have been bragged about and exaggerated as a CoD Willy Wonka Factory, just brought me to e...
PC gaming can be much more rewarding than console gaming if you have a good enough rig--not just visually, but if the game runs better, logically, it will play better too. Though, it does require a lot more patience than console gaming.
PC gaming does have a dark side though--tinkering with graphic settings til' no end has driven me crazy. Downloading tools to improve gaming performance just to see GTAIV with ICEnhancer running at a solid 40-50 FPS. Some games I've sp...
It took me 10 minutes to recognize Scrapyard. They cut off a good quarter of the map, replaced the hollowed out plane bodies with tubes--that's disappointing. It's worse even that they have all that empty space and didn't even bother to finish the map or scale it out.
They made two scale replicas of the Pit that actually look legit, though. At least that map got some attention. Of course, they separate it with wood instead of sand piles. Lame.
Not once did I hear you use the word "fun." All the work they've done on the game to refresh it, and that's what kills me. Yes, they have made major improvements to increase re-playability. Yes, they have completely reworked the talent trees, classes, and everything else to no end. But that's not my point.
My point is, there is no MMO that changes the style of play to keep the engagement enthralled. To make the game feel, how do I put this... 'fun,' to no...
Apparently PC graphics aren't better than console graphics, says the majority of N4G's public opinion...
Come on guys, if you don't like what they have to say, don't disagree--it makes us all look stupid. Just vote them down a bubble for trolling. It's absolutely ludicrous that you guys think that the "agree/disagree" system is "like/dislike." Then again, this should be a "like/dislike" system the way people treat it...
