All I know is the Beta entertained me longer than most other full games do and I'm not usually a multiplayer fan. I'm also halfway through my third play through of Drake's fortune and loving it (I'm in the UK so I still have 3 days to kill) I haven't even started a second play through on any other ps3 game I own either (I've only had the console a short time). So as long as it's as good as Drake's fortune and they don't remove the multiplayer I see it having a pretty good lasting appeal.
It's just depressing what's happened to modern society. Back in the day we had Son of Sam, Ted Bundy and the Charlie Manson family. These days we have angry nerds who can't log in to Star craft.
You can't expect this game to be loved by everyone since most gamers these days are much more like the crappy tween 'metal' band at the start of this game than the awesome metal bands on it's soundtrack. Given that most games are targeted towards these shallow tweens though I find this game a huge breath of fresh air and will be picking it up along with Uncharted 2 next weekend. This will be a fine fine weekend.
It's a trick. Sure, you get Dead space and Mirror's edge but you have to take Mercenaries 2 as well.

Damn, I was doing so well until number 10 then I remembered that I decided to spend two hours last night finishing off MGS4 before going to bed then wound up staying up the entire night. It's not my fault though, that game just never ends.
xenogamer, Buy Drake's fortune (Uncharted 1) very soon and give yourself time to play through it before you get this game. It's a good game and all but the main reason you need to get it is to set yourself up for this one. I really can't stress enough how important it is that you play the first one before this, from what I've heard the plot of this one barely mentions the first but playing through the first one will make you love the characters so much that every bit of this game's story will...
Why is there still not a single review for Brutal legend to be found anywhere??? It's so close to release it's crazy that nobody has even found a magazine reviewing it or something. There's been so little info released about the game overall, it's probably not a good sign. I'm probably picking it up if it scores over 7 in most reviews.
It also looks really blurry if you squint while playing it.
If I had to guess I'd say 90 million of those kills were mine and another twenty or so were times I've been killed.
I'm glad they apologised but that doesn't mean I haven't had what could have been a great surprising moment of the game ruined. I'm not going to watch or read another review by them. Not out of some childish spite but simply because I can't trust them not to let another spoiler through and I don't want another game ruined.
Holy crap, someone on that site actually asked why Little big planet wasn't on that list. Claiming it was 'so short it NEEDS user created levels to keep it interesting 6 hours after opening the box' ... Okay then, it needs them and it has them, an infinite supply of new levels, many of which are better than the levels from the main game. I'm all for differing opinions but some people are just insane.

How f**king stupid do you have to be to edit that video and not think, 'Oh maybe people don't want to see that bit before playing it'. That really pissed me off. Listening to metal doesn't mean you have to stop listening to other kinds of music. I'm pretty far from a 'metal head' but there are a ton of heavy metal groups that I love.

Crappy jokes aside though, I really liked Infamous. I just felt it was a little too padded. I would have been happier with a shorter g...
