If we lived in a Universe in which they were actually trying to make a good movie from this franchise there's one guy I think would be perfect to play Nate Drake. Not a big name actor or anything but he'd seriously fit the role to a tee. It's the guy who plays Jesus in the Mr Deity web show, the younger guy here

The close up eye one is too understated and subtle. You don't want subtlety with this game. You want it to look as over the top and ridiculous as the Greek Gods have always been portrayed from the oldest statues to the technicolor movies.
I find these kinds of articles interesting examples of subconscious bias. When the 360 was by far the most popular console every one of these comparison pieces would suggest that the 360 version looked slightly better. Now the PS3 is becoming the more popular console the articles seem to have shifted to claiming the PS3 looks slightly better. In reality it's just people's preconceived notions about which is 'better' altering their perceptions.

Just make sure I can get episode 3 on my PS3. That's all I care about. Somebody make them release Episode 3 for PS3, preferably on a disc. Also if you've got time, make Alyx a real person with a thing for skinny videogame geeks and send her to my house. The most important thing though is getting episode 3 for my PS3.

I don't care which system is 'better' but I have to say in all honesty I recently switched from 360 to a PS3 slim and I'm still ridiculously happy with the decision. I still get as giddy as a wet schoolgirl when thinking about it. Free online play, blu ray player, far faaar better visuals (Obviously only on exclusives), much quieter, nice size, I honestly still can't get over it.

Real life is overrated, it's fun for a while but gets boring after the first few hours and you're not given nearly enough interesting tasks to do.
I just hope they don't start milking the franchise. It's perfect right now and while I'd LOVE to see another game I don't want to ever get to a point where I'm asked to buy Uncharted: Odst.
I have to disagree about not knowing how Flynn and Drake know each other. One of the things I loved about this game and the first one is that a whole back story of Nate Drake's adventures is hinted at through people he's apparently 'worked with' before but you never find out the details. It gets you wondering just how close Nate has come to being one of these people and just how well he's fit in among these thieves in the past.
Also, (spoilers) about the Nazi in the village. I liked...

This is my most anticipated game but I still can't help but feel like the characters and plot will be as corny as 99% of games out there now. The hot chick who gets her kit off, the troubled handsome detective with a drug problem, the grizzled old cop. Games are so undeveloped artistically, there are only a few out there that can stand alone as brilliant stories (Tim Schaeffer games, Uncharted is well written tongue in cheek fun, Bioshock). I'm really hoping it can pull off a genuinely moving...

People say Assassin's Creed was good for the first few hours but I hated it right away (and that's after looking forward to it for ages and ignoring the bad reviews). Without being able to try it out for myself to see if it's as shallow and broken as the first I won't be getting it.
